First off, this place is the BOMB! I ordered the Wonton Special (comes with BBQ Pork in the soup). That broth - THAT FREAKING... BROTH was so flavorful, I took a sip before I put it in my pho. Honestly, I didn?t even need the chili oil or the jalapeñosthat I asked for, the broth carried the entire soup. I also had pot stickers that were wonderful along with the sauce. A good friend of mine in Kansas City, Missouri owns a Vietnamese restaurant called iPhoTower French Vietnamese Cuisine, and when... I seen this place I was reminded of him and his family. I?m an Americano Filipino, I know a lot of Vietnamese people and havehad the pleasure of eating traditional home cooked food many times throughout my life. Even though there?s little details thatwasn?t impressive (napkins, foam water cup, no lemons but limes for water) but the Pho was good! Especially the meatballs, someof the best I?ve ever tasted. Wish they had Bánh mì as an option but it?s all good. I?ve yet to find a Bánh mì in thiscountry better than my friends spot in KC. This was our first time visiting this place and it did not disappoint. The service and food was amazing. Everything was fresh... and hot. I had the pan fried chicken and the chicken was so fresh and juicy. We also had the pot stickers which had a nicelittle crunch to them and cooked very well. The best pho in Bell County. The broth was very rich and you could taste the spices in it unlike a lot of other local pho... restaurants. The meat was very high quality so even though the bowl was more expensive than the usual for pho, it was worth it.I grew up in California where good Vietnamese food was very accessible so it?s been a struggle to find quality Vietnamese foodwithout driving far. This place is much better than most of the places you find in Austin and even compares to pho places inHouston where there?s a very high Vietnamese population. It?s really fru fru for a pho place and pricier. Pho is usually around $10 and theirs is significantly higher at $13-15, with a... $25 option?! They serve you water in this fancy bottle but give you plastic cups??? The pho was good but it took a while for thefood to arrive. Most pho places like Pho Saigon or Pho 9 will have it out to you in 5 mins or less. They made spring roll with old lettuce. I was complaining to an employee and all I can hear was: let me tell them ????. No one... will pass by and ask everything ok or if you need anything else. They gave one thin napkin per person. $16.50 for a bowl of phocombo. Superbowl is $25. Price way too high. My husband said the soup too sweet like you?re drinking juice and he will not letme pick the place to eat again. I have bad headache after eating.
