I was excited to try this place out because it got really good reviews. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the... bulgogi burger and was quite pleased with the portions; I'm not a particularly voracious eater so some people might want alittle bit more, but for me the amount of meat was perfect. I thought the quality of the meat was great and so was the taste:tangy yet slightly sweet, which is just the way I like it. Again, it may not be exactly "authentically Korean" but I don'tparticularly care about how authentic something is as long as it tastes really good, which this burger certainly did. I alsoordered a side of fries which were less memorable but still good.The shop itself is kind of small; I ordered to go but waitinginside was very pleasant. The employees were very friendly and the speed that my order was prepared was impressive too.Overall Ihad a great experience and would recommend this place to anyone in the area interested in tasty burgers and/or Korean food. First time visiting ordered the combination Fried Rice and Yakimandu flavorful and decently portioned. Good Kimchi too. Staff... friendly and clean establishment. Will definitely patronize it again Read more
Drive out of your way to eat here!! The food is absolutely delicious. The lady taking orders was friendly and helpful; the cook... came out and greeted us after our meal with a big smile. We got The Bacon Burger and Combo Fried Rice with shrimp for $20. Theburger was juicy, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The French fries were golden and crispy. The fried rice was the perfectratio of rice/veggies/meat. The shrimp were fresh and the other meats had seriously good flavor. Perfect for take-out or a quicklunch spot. You can tell they love what they do, the burgers are out of this world and I used to be a chef! Large portions for a great price... and the staff is super friendly. Remember to ask about a rewards card. Can't wait to go back, I recommend the "All American",the B.E.L.T (bacon egg lettuce tamatoe), and the shrimp fried rice but it's all amazing really. Read more
I honestly struggled to write this review. It's the kind of place you want to keep secret, so it becomes a Local kind of joint.... But in this economy we need them to succeed, as so many places are mediocre at best, unclean or have bad service. This is asmall style restaurant near 2410 & Zephyr Road. We ordered a small Yakimandu, the Bulgogi plate, and Combo Fried rice withshrimp. The yakimandu was excellent, it reminds me of the church ladies cooking for fund raising. They were full and had a greatratio of veg & meat mix. We really should of ordered a Large, also it was served with a pineapple sweet/sour sauce. Personally,I am not a fan of sweet sauces on my food, however the Sauce itself should be mentioned as it was very tasty The Bulgogi wasserved with an cucumber slaw mixed with more cabbage & had a spicy/salty-sweet flavor. It was soo good. Bulgogi itself wastender. My fried rice was made with short grain rice, vegetables meats & eggs. There are other food items in the menu & we lookforward to trying more things.
