What's to like more? The food? The decor? The "Presidential" atmosphere? If you step inside for the first time, be ready for a... multi-dimensional experience. Each room seems its own venue. So much to see and appreciate. Our party of three all chose thesame entree last evening, salmon with roasted vegetables and a choice of potato styles. The waiter said the salmon is the mostpopular entree on the dinner menu. As for the wine menu, they feature selection's from Trump's winery in Virginia. Read more

This is a very quaint place to stay! Rooms have all the amenities you would expect and are exceptionally clean and tidy. And the... hotel has interesting tidbits about the Virginia Presidents posted throughout. Read more

Our room was spacious, quiet, had everything we needed for comfort, and allowed our small dog. We liked the Keurig in the... room?great?and a nice little front porch. Breakfast was generous and included. Service was wonderful. Everyone was so niceRather a lot of ?decor,? but it is an historic inn. Tip: there?s a park off the back parking lot that?s good for dog walks, andLee?s Diner around the corner is simple, affordable, and good for dinner. Read more

We were visiting the NN and had planned to spend most of the day downtown Kilmarnock. We came for brunch on a Saturday. I had... found the Inn's website and was impressed. From the time we entered I knew we were in for a treat! I just had to have the Bloody Mary and French toast. Great choices! We will definitely be back to the restaurant and would like to stay there as well. Read more

We haven't stayed there but enjoy their breakfast menu, available 7 days a week from 8-2. It's a bit spendy but seldom... disappoints. The indoor and outdoor atmosphere are a little over the top but I consider it good bread with lots of circus. Take a minute and tour the back courtyard sometime. It's unlike anyplace I have ever seen. Read more

My husband, some of our wedding party/guests, and I stayed at the Kilmarnock Inn while in town for our wedding. The service was... excellent and the space was perfect for our stay! We were in the Madison Cottage, which was lovely and a great space to getready in that morning. We used the Jefferson Gathering Hall for a casual welcome event the day before the wedding and took somephotos in the beautiful courtyard/Inn grounds the morning of the wedding. Wonderful stay overall! Read more

We did not lodge at the Inn, we spent a couple hours having brunch and walking the garden. From the front, it's very unassuming... historic gem. We parked and entered from the rear entrance and it was a mind blowing experience! The guest cottages areadorable, each with lush landscaping, intimate privacy and named after the "founding father's" We arrived at the end of thefood service. Our hostess, Karen (introduced herself as 'the good kind' -, ha!) was attentive to our needs but not hovering! Shewas funny, and genuine. The food was AMAZING! Our party ordered the lobster rolls, and chicken salad which was just the rightamount of creamy. Again, not a guest at the Inn but for a pleasant, bougie dining experience, highly recommend. Adding somepics from the garden. Read more
