Great place to meet friends and family for a bite to eat and grab a drink. Weather permitting, the outdoor patio is a great... place to hang out and listen to the live music. It's located in the heart of historic Kimmswick, MO and if your there duringthe day you can satisfy your shopping urges as well. Read more

They wanted to whine about a Gatorade on our table for our 5 yr old but dirty dishes sat there for an hour that my husband had... to clean up. They came over 4 times to complain about the gatorade !But no one cleaned the dirty dishes. What a joke!! Read more

Food was okay and reasonably priced however they are so short staffed only 1 waitress trying to cover a large crowd on the... patio. She was hustling however we waited over an hour for our food and some of it was cold. The wine, music and atmospherewere great on picture perfect day spent with great friends. Read more

I loved it! The 12 oz steak is thick and juicy. Service was perfect. Wine delicious. This Kimmswick historic building is... amazing. The Old House Restaurant building from 1770. Awesome place. Read more

Was at a bridal shower. They had a tent. No fans, put food in the sun. Had to go inside to ask for wine and bigger plates. ... They did not cover any of the food. They had the sangria in juice bottles. Flies were everywhere. We were totally ignored thewhole time. Do not book for an event here. Very disappointing. Read more

Went to kimmswick with a group of 10 to celebrate a milestone birthday. Very limited menu and our server was not friendly. Room... was dark and musty and all agreed we won't go back. We had been to Desoto and assumed would be same. Big disappointment. Read more

To start, the service was great- no complaints there. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I had high hopes, as the previous... establishment in this building was excellent. The wine was decent, too. The problem was the food. The steaks were cooked toorder properly but were completely unseasoned, not even salted. The green beans were stewed into oblivion, and the bakedpotatoes were served with margarine, which should be considered a sin. For what was a $110 meal for two, I don't think theexpectation of real butter is unreasonable. The fact that they even keep margarine on hand speaks to their priorities. Inormally give a place two chances, but I don't think we'll return here. I really don't like leaving poor reviews of smallbusinesses, but the issues we had were unacceptable. A few relatively minor improvements would make all the difference. Read more

I went to dinner with my family to celebrate a birthday. I had high hopes based on pictures and reviews from others. We... ordered frog legs and fried greenbeans as apps. Both were just OK. For dinner my wife ordered a pasta dish, my son thegrouper, and my daughter the pork chop. I went all out and ordered the 52 dollar surf and turf. Everything came out at thesame time and everything looked great but honestly for what we paid for dinner the entrees were just OK. My steak was lukewarmand my lobster was definitely overcooked. Had to ask for butter for the tail. I would probably have a different review goinghere for lunch sitting outside, but for what we paid for dinner I would go elsewhere if you want a great meal.
