Cheese bread was good but the hot wings tasted more like BBQ...
Saturday night - looking for the place to grab a meal while I waited for the Pipe Band March. Bar Down is right on Queen Street,... right on the band's route. What better place could there be? My steak, done medium-rare, was spot on. Cooked just enough totake the edge off, not too much to dry it out at all. And with all the sides, the meal was definitely value for money. Thebeers were cold, the sports were plentiful, and the crowd was building. I'm sure the place filled up and the night went off.Unfortunately, I couldn't stay. I wish there had been a chance to get back there later that night. I'm sure it would have been agood one. Read more

Nice place inside and out. Food, more specifically my meal was excellent. Our server was great. Answered all our questions... regarding our order choice (wife has a dairy allergy) and yes as stated in a lot of the other reviews....get the Prime Rib! Wewill definitely revisit next time we're there. Read more

This was a great find in Kincardine. A nice tap list of local beer, and some good pub food. We happened to be there on wing... night. The patio was nicely spaced, there were good COVID protocols, and the food was delicious! Read more
Great night out with friends. Had the Lake Huron Lemonade, delish. Candy Bacon Brussel Sprouts, OMG Fan-friggin-tastic! Chicken... Spinach Salad for dinner, was sooo good, the dressing, the candy bacon in it, yum!Everything was delicious. Very impressed.Nicki was our server, she was great, helped us figure out what to order when we were undecided. Portions were quite large also.Too bad I was only in the area for the long weekend.
