Wish I could give them a better rating. Place needs serious improvements. Carpet on front of bar is shredded. Our food was... overcooked, making it dry, hard and difficult to eat. Atmosphere is as enjoyable as always. It's a typical HuCo bar... I just wasn't a fan of the Heckleburger this time. Service took... a little while longer than I would have liked but the owner noticed and stepped in. I average at least one or two orders peryear from Hecks and never had a complaint. Everything has been in order in the past... There was just too much grease drippingoff my burger and I could only eat half... I left the rest on the table. Did the Friday night Fish fry with perch. Fish, onion rings, salad for $15.00. Dinner for 4 with 2 drinks each total $85.00. ... Do not be fooled by the outside appearance this place has the best perch in the Thumb. Read more
Great burgers, but you have to try their Friday fish fry. This is a regular stop in my travels. Family staff and atmosphere.... Love the wood burner. Definitely well worth your $. Read more
You have to have a burger here, they're the best! They also have a great selection of Michigan craft beers which is unexpected... for an out of the way watering hole such as this. The decor is reminiscent of the 70's which is actually pretty cool. Read more
