Passed through town and stopped for a quick meal. Plants in every window which was nice, but they were covered in mealy bugs!... The giant fish in aquarium have tumors growing on them! First impressions were not pleasant! The food was alright, but not thebest Chinese I've ever had. Read more
Ordered House Special Shanghai Noodles (shrimp, BBQ pork, chicken, broccoli, carrots, celery, bok choy, onions, etc.) and dry... ribs. The lady that took my order was polite and helpful, the portions were huge and the food was flavorful. Highly recommendthis place. Read more
Came across this restaurant when we?re passing thru Kindersley enroute to Calgary. The staff were accommodating and the the food... was delicious! We had one of the specials and one of the Dinner for One options. Food was very affordable, we paid $12 for each!This place is great for freshly cooked family dinner or if you?re like us who?s looking for a quick lunch while passing throughthe city! We ordered chicken Chow Mein, chicken fried rice, deep fried prawns and beef and broccoli and we were pleasantly... surprised!! This was probably the best Chinese food that we've ever had!! I have had Singapore Noodles all over North America - some were good, some were bad, and I rate a Chinese Restaurant by how well... they can make this dish. The ones I had today at The Homesteader were the best I've ever eaten. - bar none. Large, plump chunksof tender chicken, plenty of shrimp, and the BBQ pork slices were excellent. Definitely recommend this dish and restaurant forits Chinese Food. Huge portions, reasonable prices, can't beat the overall value. Read more
