Was pleasantly surprised by this nice and pleasant restaurant. The food was delicious. I recommend the halibut if it's... available. There is good variety to the menu. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I don't drink so I can't speak to the barbut it looked well stocked and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'll go back as I would like to try some other items onthe menu. Read more

My friend from work invited me to an impromptu late afternoon lunch/early dinner. Neither of us was sure of where to go and The... Cork and Plough popped up on her screen when she searched restaurants nearby. And boy....were we pleasantly surprised!Immediately greeted by the friendly and open on-floor staff Andrew and Jess, we were seated and given the daily specials. Therestaurant was open and spacious without feeling sterile; it was up to date and modern and welcoming. The service we wereprovided was conscientious without being overbearing. Our drinks were delicious and yummy (The Rosemary Lemondrop), I recommendfor anyone to try. She had a Tri-Tip French Dip sandwich and I had an Albacore Tuna Salad sandwich; an appetizer of FriedZucchini w/homemade Ranch Dressing preceded the meal. All were well portioned and tasty. Again I can't stress how warm andwelcoming the wait-staff were. Definitely will return here!! What a wonderful "little jewel" to find in King City. Thanks Jessand Andrew. Read more

Amazing steak! Both the rib eye and prime rib were fantastic. Quite pricey ($40) but generous portions and sides. Service was... exceptional, too. Lots of unique desserts. Would recommend. Read more

We were driving on 101 getting depressed while looking for dinner (and only seeing fast food and Mexican) when my google... happened to come up with a hit on Cork and Plough a little ways off the freeway in King City. What a treat! The place isfriendly and welcoming, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious and fresh! My past was prepared al dente with crispyasparagus and was infused with a lovely light tarragon flavor. The Salad was exceptional, a great balance of clean and lightoil, sweet and sour with aromas of herbs, crunch and tasted freshly picked. My husband's burger was juicy and delicious and thefries were not oily but cooked crispy and tasted just made. My cocktail was also delightful, not too sweet or too much alcoholand a lovely mix of fruit flavors. Kudos to chef Diana Gonzalez for getting everything just right!!! She is indeed an artist. Stopped in for lunch- given the huge number of Mexican restaurants I m thinking that we should have gone to one of them? Our... visit was based on the reviews. The facility was nice and ambiance was cute. Service was prompt and helpful Food took almost 25minutes! The beet salad was a big hit and got two thumbs up! My chicken pot pie was a bit of a disappointment Bland. Overall I?dsay we?ll be back but would try something different. Read more

Great little stop in the middle of nowhere. This place has excellent food, great drinks and it?s set up very well. My wife had... the beet salad which was phenomenal. I had the New York steak sandwich and it was excellent. Of course I added but a littleextra horseradish aioli which I think amps it up even more. My brother had the pork sliders and said they were some of the besthe?s had. Highly recommend coming here to enjoy a meal!!! Read more
