I have to second some recent reviewers observations that this location, which used to be quite good, has gone badly downhill.... One server for numerous tables means delay, no one?s fault but management, but when you order lox ie. smoked salmon, you expectit to be pink, not white! Sent it back, the server acted like she had no idea what the problem was, as if she did not know whatcolour salmon is supposed to be and the cook pulled the rest out of the fridge, seeing it was all white, declared it fine. Wedid not eat it but we?re charged for it nonetheless. My breakfast while the right colour ???? was Luke warm. Plenty of otherbreakfast choices in the area so we will not be back. Read more
Visited this restaurant yesterday and wow, we didn't even make it to a table. If this business thinks ignoring their customers... when they walk in the door, giving their customers attitude when they get asked a question, is the right way for business, thengood luck to you. The old owners of this business did it right. Whoever owns it now needs a complete FOH staff change. Read more
Worst experience here. I used to come here all the time until they switched owners, decided to give it a try- not worth it.... Right when I walked in no acknowledgement from the server. She was a young girl with blonde hair. I sat myself and waited forher to approach me she walked past me at least 5 times! Saw me but didn?t say anything. Wasn?t even busy maybe three tablesfull. I waited 10 more minutes then went up to the front and asked her to bring me coffee. 5 more minutes later she walked pastme with coffee for her other tables. My friend and I got up and left. This place has gone down totally. New owners and quality is no longer there. I had a few issues. Today Ordered egg omelette... with extra feta. Needed a microscope to find the feta. Potatoes not cooked. Bacon was not freshly cooked. Read more
We waited 2 hours for our food. We were empathetic because only 2 people working one cooking other doing everything else.... Needless to say we watched as 4 other tables were served before us. We walked out and left and she tells the cook to forgetabout it, signaling to me they hadn't started our order. Disgusting is all I can say, first come first serve is it not. I liketo keep my money in my community but I will never go back. There are plenty of Sunset Grills or breakfast spots in neighbouringcommunities. Read more
Prior to COVID, this was our favorite spot to have breakfast and brunch. The owners were awesome, the service & food was great.... Today was our first visit back, and we were disappointed! We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast combo, and coffee....whilestaff walked around aimlessly. When the food did arrive, bacon was overcooked and pancakes were raw! We will need to find a newplace in king city...any suggestions? Read more
I usually never take the time to write a review... but today (Aug 1, 2022) I grabbed brunch at this location. The staff are... slow, without any care, the food was absolutely bad. They cared more about Uber deliveries than the customers sitting at thetables. We had to wait more than 30 min for our food. And they brought it to us raw cause we asked about the food a couple oftimes. French toast was absolutely disgusting.. the owner was there with no care.. we had to change 2 tables cause the tableshad not been cleaned.. we had to search for tables that did not have plates on them at the beginning.. and the ones that didnot, were sticky.. absolutely digusting. Do not try this place at all. There were at least 6 servers, but no one even asked howour food was. They were behind the cash registry gossiping... potatos were diagusting really. Also they brought our bunch inchunks.. first eggs, then after a few min french toast. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! there are other places you can visit thatcare about the quality of their food and customer experience. The other thing I have noticed is that people have beencomplaining about the same things as I do above in their reviews. The mamagement just says they are sorry until the next reviewpops up. My first time coming to this beautiful establishment was incredible. I took my husband, kids and grandkids here after church. ... A beautiful young brunette girl was our server and she was incredible. I had a delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juiceand had some chocolate chip pancakes. Keep up the good work guys!
