Hearing a lot of good things about Plaza Azteca, I finally gave this place a try. When I first sat down at the bar, it took some... time for a bartender to serve me. I ordered the Corona-Rita which tasted great, but I was confused because the Corona issupposed to be placed upside down into the margarita, but it wasn?t which made it very difficult to put the Corona in. Not ahuge deal, but I would have liked to receive what I ordered. The bartenders were very sweet and had warm personalities, which iswhy they are receiving three stars. We had to ask about their happy hour since they do not have a happy hour menu and the onlydisplay of the happy hour hangs low behind stools next to the bar so it?s hard to see if people are sitting there. Their happyhour is from 4-6 for the Azteca margarita only I believe. There is some type of special that goes on all day for margaritas, butI couldn?t read the sign too well. Now onto the food. I am a lover of cheese, so I was excited to order the Sonora, which is aquesadilla stuffed with cheese, a cheese enchilada, and a burrito covered in cheese. The word cheese was just said a lot and letme tell you? the plate was COVERED in cheese. Pounds of cheese. I was very scared to eat it because I?d never seen so muchcheese on a plate in my life. I LOVE to eat and so the fact my food got cold and I couldn?t finish it says a lot about how Ifelt. I would never recommend this food dish to anyone because your stomach will never forgive you. With all of this said, Iwould probably come back for the drinks and to maybe try one of their other dishes that doesn?t involve cheese. I do love thefact that they have some vegetarian and vegan options! Read more
One of our favorite places to eat when we visit King of Prussia. We feel like we are back in Mexico. Flavor explosion in every... bite. Large portions so prepare to be full or have extra. Order something new and you won't be disappointed. Read more
5 of us went here for dinner and had a lovely time. I'm glad onebof ys spoke Spanish because several of the staff could not... understand what we were asking for. Food was good. Table side guacamole was excellent. Several of us gor burritos and theyloved it. The other got enchiladas. We plan to go back. I want to save room for dessert. ???? Read more
1st time here and I have to say it was amazing! My waiter, Darwin, was perfect. I can?t remember the last time I had such... exceptional service. The food was delicious, drinks were great and the service was the icing on the cake. Can?t wait to go back. Read more
Wow! Everything was so amazing I don?t even know where to start. The chips and salsa are so fresh and delicious it?s almost... impossible not to fill up on them. But the burritos!!! Tacos!! Rice!!! Service is good food is good too. Yesterday we went for dinner ordered table side guacamole we asked it extra spicy but still it... ended up not even medium spicy but its good. We also ordered baja fish tacos, shrimp fajitas both are good too. For dessert weordered flan which was so bitter but they took it off the bill as we couldn't eat it. Out of rice?! Used to come all the time but never again. I had to drive all night to Philly due to an emergency and this was the... first vegan meal I could fine. They were out of rice and just gave me a $14 bowl of onions and peppers. The unmelted cheese yousee is because I had to ask. They let them selves go.
