My uncle recommended this to me as his favorite restaurant. I ordered the beef short ribs, they were fabulous! So good!! My... friend had the lemongrass brick chicken and really liked it, too. Staff were very attentive, kept our water refilled. Dinner & appetizers were delicious. We had the Surf & turf appetizer as well... as soup of the day, Half Pound Angus Cheeseburger & a dinner special which was Duck Confit with vegetables. Read more

The ambience of the restaurant is seductive and cozy. When you enter the restaurant, they have a bar, and a seating area for... dinner. The menu selection is appealing and sophisticated, you will surely find something in the menu that you would like. Thefood is very tasty. They usually have specials, and they offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour. Their chef is Frenchtrained, so You'll get very delicious food. They also have a vast wine and drink selection. You'll find something that wouldsuit your sense of smell and taste with their wines as they always have wine reps that come by weekly and come frequently. Whenyou do go, ask for Helen. We found this gem of a golf course our last day in Tahoe. We hit 4 different courses during our 5 day stay and this one was... spectacular. We only had time to hit 9 holes but the carts, course, tee boxes and greens were phenomenal. Price was the bestpart. To give you an example, My wife and I paid $600 to hit Edgewood the first day (well worth the money btw) and then we hittwo other courses before finding this one. The other two were mediocre and awful...and almost the sam price as Brockway. I wishwe would have found brockway sooner because for the money (about $40 for 9 and a cart/per person) it was a steal and I wouldhave loved to play this course another time or two. We also ate breakfast at the Spindleshank restaurant and it was so good wedecided to come back for dinner before hitting the course. The food was very good and we loved the outdoor dining option. Myonly complaint was they brought me a small glass of ice and a warm can of coke for my drink...YUCK!!! But otherwise the foodwas fantastic. We will definitely come here again for both food and golf when we return to Tahoe. Thanks and well done!! Read more

Sat on the patio for dinner with a coworker - great atmosphere with views of the golf course (if you?re on the edge of the... patio). Our server Ed was really great! We both got the halibut special on his recommendation and we were notdisappointed. Also - I love gin, but I was weary of the fact that there is wine in the St.Hendricks refresher - I believed Edwhen he said it?s actually really good and he wasn?t wrong! If you go around sunset you can stop at one of the public beachaccesses right across the street and the views are gorgeous! Read more
