The lady at the counter was quite rude. Firstly, she overcharged me, and when I repeated to her thinking that she might have... misunderstood my order, she started looking down on me. This is the beverage I order almost every time I visit Starbucks, butthis is the first time I found this reaction, as if I was bothering her. I don't know what to expect and quietly paid 2 dollarsextra for the same drink. If I could I would have given 0 rating, never going there again. Read more

This location has chronically charged me $9 for a venti dirty chai latte when it should have cost $6, by charging me $3 for... three espresso shots when a latte already has three shots. This resulted in over $100 in overcharges over my stint of orderingthis drink. I didn't realize this until another location told me I should be billed for a regular latte with chai pumps insteadof a chai with three shots of espresso. I feel truly robbed by this locations predatory practices. Calling Starbucks customersupport, their resolution was to offer me a $10 gift card, which I turned down for being insulting after such a systemicdraining of my finances. This is not a company that deserves anyone's support, stick to local coffee shops who stand by theirservice. Read more

Customer service was horrible. When I requested a cup of water the employee looked bothered and said it?s a ,25 charge. Never... have I ever been charged for water. And then they start talking to another employer about some BF. Read more

I came here twice because it is the only Starbucks close to the Lake. Both times they kept closing early! I'm not talking about... just an hour but the lights go off 15 minutes before the hour!!! When asked about the strange hours the staff said they changedthe hours recently. Expect rude service and the drinks were halfway made. Worth the drive to find another place for coffee.Horrible. My husband and I stayed at Kings beach. We went here both Saturday and also Sunday morning for coffee & breakfast sandwiches and... were greeted with smiles. The wait was not that long and both our coffee drinks were made just fine and our food tasted good...nice & hot. It made our morning enjoyable. We read all the bad reviews and were a little hesitant about going but we had noproblem. It was a pleasant visit and it is a perfectly nice Starbucks inside the Safeway shopping center. We will come backagain when in the area. Read more

Obnoxiously rude girl working the counter at this location on November nineteenth. Overcharged at first and then she ran her... mouth and started talking down to me. Having a bad day and maybe this isn't your attitude every day? If that's the case, youneed to recognize that in yourself and learn to put that aside while working. This Starbucks has an abysmal rating- it's clearto me why. Those managing it rely on at least some of the many people traveling through the area to visit. Because of this, there is no concern for repeat customers. And therefore, no concern for customer service. Please, for the sake of those livingin the area, turn this place around. Until then, I'll make the extra 10 minute drive to the one located at.. 899 Tahoe Blvd,Incline Village, NV 89451 Try them. The difference is night and day. I took Kate's advice and ignored the negative reviews..much to my detriment. Read more

Wow. Not sure if the girl ringing me up was mistaken or outright lied. In any event, she was super rude. I had come to this... location 5 days earlier and ordered a veranda coffee. They didn't have any open so the person helping me walked over to theshelf in the store and opened a bag and proceeded to make me the veranda coffee. Well... different reception today (11/19). The girl at the register told me she would not open a bag of veranda. I told her I had been to Starbucks all over the place, including this one, and when they don't have it, they simply open a bag; this lead me to believe it was likely Starbucks policy. She was quick to let me know that this was a licensed store so they don't have to follow Starbucks policy. Ok, no problem. Iasked if I could purchase a bag of veranda, if she could then open it, make my coffee from it, and then either retain all theremainder coffee or give it back to me. She declined- in a rude manner. She told me she would absolutely not make me averanda. At this point, my father looked bewildered. Why was this conversation going the way it was? No clue. So I asked thisgirl why she wouldn't make me coffee from the bag and she told me that it goes bad after 7 days and that they don't have thebusiness to justify it. Now here's the part that doesn't make sense- two reasons. First- If I had purchased the bag (whetheror not I had left the bag for them to use for other customers), Starbucks was not footing the bill. I was. It meant that muchto me to have that particular coffee that I was happy to buy an entire bag. Second- if someone had just opened a bag of thatcoffee 5 days earlier, where did that bag disappear to? Was it perhaps purchased by customers? This was easily the worst I'vebeen treated in a Starbucks and is one of the worst I've been treated by someone interacting with the public. I've workedcustomer service. This girl lacks the maturity, patience, and ability to communicate to do that job. F Read more
