Until today I would have said even a bad pizza is still good because it's pizza. Unfriendly service, sausage tastes gross the... toppings are sparce, the dough is so thin its like a cracker, pizza was hardly warm at all at pick up... it's just gross.Walmart pizza is honestly money better spent. The delivery driver was great. Other than that I was reminded why I always order Domino's. I wanted a Large Brooklyn type... pizza. When it arrived it was warmish. The dough that was used was stale as if someone had already prepped the dough and it satout for some time. The pie itself was not completely covered in cheese and also the pie crust was doughy and over cooked at thesame time. I was an assistant manager at this location many years ago. I understand mistakes happen. This is my experience isjust bad management. Making the dough skins before needed not properly placing product will result in an inferior product. I wasgoing to call the store but I believe this would fall on deaf ears. So this is why I decided to leave this review. If I can give a zero star I would. I told them to have my pizza done by 1145am. I got a message saying it was done at 1120am. I... called them and said I wanted fresh pizza, not pizza that's been sitting there for 25 minutes. The lady on the phone said theywould remake it. Once I arrived at 1138am. The manager guy got an attitude with me when I asked why my pizza wasn't remade whenI was told it would be. He said it was fresh and slammed the pizza on the counter in front of me and said do you want it or not.He said they were busy and it would take over 30 minutes to make. They didn't have any orders on the screen. When I asked againwhy it wasn't remade when I was told it would be, he got even louder with me. I asked him who the manager was and he said hewas. I told him I would call corporate and he said he didn't care do what I want. If I didnt have a little kids birthday partyto get to, I would of went somewhere else. The pizza was barely warm. We received garlic park wings instead of buffalo wings. I called the store and the manager immediately made the correct items... and had them delivered promptly. Everything else was good. I can forgive a mistake when it is corrected quickly. Thank you. Read more
Ordered online at 7:12 and estimated time for delivery was 57 to 67 minutes. We got a text at 8:07 that it was out for delivery.... We were 2.5 miles away so I thought this was going to work out. 8:50 still no pizza. Called and got really rude manager whoinformed me their delivery time is 2 hours. When I told him what that the time I was given me given when I placed the order washalf that he said that was from an automated system based in the Philippines so how is that his fault. I suggested he inform theappropriate person that there's a big discrepancy in what people are told and what they experience. His answer was he had nocontrol over that. I gave up. Pizza came barely warm about 9:00.Last Papa John's I will ever order. Read more
Customer service and food quality is lagging at this location, I will not be returning, it's worth a drive to go somewhere... else. So disappointing papa johns used to be 1 of the better pizzas not sure anymore. leadership is definitely missing if theowners disagree please send secret shoppers maybe the franchise would reconsider about the person operating this location Read more
Our large pepperoni pizza that arrived on July 2nd 2022 around 9:30 pm looked like fried cheese with crinkled pepperoni. It was... the worst Papa John's pizza I've ever ordered. I had one slice and didn't even want to finish the rest. It was so dried out andunenjoyable. I will never order from this location nor Papa Johns in general ever again !!! Read more
We just moved to Kingsport, and ordered from this store twice. The first pizza was ordered with stuffed crust, but came with... regular crust. The second order was supposed to be extra cheese. No extra cheese, barely regular cheese. And, honestly it hasthe flavor and texture of a Little Caesars...at twice the price. Usually, PJs is our favorite pizza, not so for this location. Read more
