I feel like this place has went down hill since new owners have taken over. Got my favorite, soup beans and cornbread. To my... surprise, the portions are smaller and not as good as it used to be. I got 2 half subs and 2 drinks over 20 bucks I ordered one steak and cheese plain and one with everything and they made both of... mine plain as can be. So crazy. Not going here again. To much for what it is. Subway is better and cheaper Read more
I purchased 2 banana splits that cost $20. Price is ok but the banana splits was basically only ice cream hardly any toppings.... Just don't buy them go some place else. Dairy queen is always good for ice cream deserts. Read more
I love Purple Cow but am so disappointed in the change made in the fried pickles ???????? We have been gone this summer so this... was our first trip back to the cow and I was looking forward to the best fried pickles ever. The breading seems to have beenchanged and what I got this time was ALL breading and barely any pickle. Why change such a great thing? Read more
I used to go to this place at least once a week for years and years, and it was great food at a great price. Not anymore! The... food has give way downhill and the prices are way out of proportion. An average size double cheeseburger is $8? Come on. And themeat had a very weird texture. Not sure what's going on with their hamburger. So if you want to overpay for below average foodand wait in line for about 20+ minutes, head on over. Read more
6 years or so ago I did a best burger contest at home, went and got regular, loaded cheese burgers from all the top rated spots... in town. 4-6 burgers. I did a blind taste test and Purple Cow was the clear winner. Today going through the drive throughordering my double deluxe I wasn?t sure what to expect but was extremely satisfied with the result. It was a well put together,well seasoned (don?t ever stop seasoning your patties), flavorful, moist, balanced burger that was and still is the best burgerin the tri cities. After being disgusted by burger bar and Bristol and hearing how good it was, I was so relieved to find PurpleCow still putting out that absolutely fire in the entry burger game. Fantastic, thank you! Absolute horrible experience. That's two times in a row. I will not under any circumstance be back. They can give me a free meal... but I don't want to have to go through what they call "customer service" to get it. They are awesome at very poor customerservice! Read more
