Classic Italian dishes made here for years, but we only started trying during pandemic because they made takeout easy. We?re not new to Carmela?s but haven?t been in years, and that?s our bad. Stopped in for our homemade noodle fix and left... fatter and so happy. We sat at the bar, and Diane the bartender was the best. The food was delicious. Period. Piping hot,and so flavorful!! And the bread, OMG. We?d go back just for the bread. The atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is so nice. It won?t be years before we go again! Read more

Carmella's has been a favorite of mine for awhile now. But I was especially happy with the hostess and the server on this last... visit, father's day. My dad was driving to the area and was running a lot later than expected. When I had to call the hostessto change the reservations, not once, but twice, she was very friendly and accommodating! Very busy establishment! Great food! Lots of selections to choose from. Huge portions....you'll get at least 2 meals, maybe 3... from your dinner. Don't forget to save room for dessert there are fantastic options to enjoy! They have different specialsthroughout the week. Great friendly service with a smile! Visiting family in the area (west coast vacay to the east coast), she recommended we have dinner here. Pretty good atmosphere... to dine in. Although we were on the bar side, so a bit loud. Then it calmed down after a group of ladies left and it becameenjoyable for us. Had the homemade pasta with my seafood, a bit thick maybe I should've ordered a meal with a thicker pastasauce instead. Overall my meal was good. Daughter ordered the salmon, tasty. Hubby ordered veal parm, he enjoyed it. For dessertwe ordered the cannoli, delicious and creme brulee also delicious. Overall would come again in the future but will most likelyordered a different meal for myself. But the desserts would order in a heartbeat. Read more
This place is great! Decided to stop here for dinner around 8:00 on a Friday night. Even though it looked a bit busy, we were... able to be seated right away. The service was excellent and timely, everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We orderedthe mussels scampi as an appetizer, then had homemade pasta and the special stuffed sole for our entrees. Everything wasdelicious and reasonably priced. Convenient location, lots of parking, open late, great food, good ambience... I can't find afault with this place. Will definitely be coming back! Read more
