We were the only people there on a Friday night. Service was super, super slow. While the server was nice, it would drive me... crazy when she would shuffle into the room wearing what sounded to be like slippers. I liked my steak, but my company didn'tcare for their meals, said the shrimp was mush and the schnitzel was flavorless. Enjoyed the oldness of the place, but I thinkit's days are numbered. Read more

Such a very warm and inviting restaurant. There is a fire place in the middle of the room which makes the atmosphere wonderful.... The food was amazing. I recommend the escargot. And the staff was pleasant. Read more

Brought my boyfriend here tonight to celebrate his birthday. He loves histrionic homes. The atmosphere was wonder. The food not... so much. We got raw oysters that had sand and shells still in them they were not perched to get out the sand and shells. Thengot the prime rib with potatoes and green beans. The potatoes where instant potatoes and the green beans were frozen greenbeans. The prime rib wasn?t fresh it tasted like it had been cooked the day before and refrigerated or frozen then unthawed. Thegrape nut custard was very watery which it is not supposed to be like. It was a frozen custard unthawed. For what I paid forthis dinner ( over 200.00$). I would have thought the food would have been soooo much better. The pictures may look like thefood was good but honestly it wasn?t. Don?t think we?ll be going back. Read more

Beautiful restaurant with great food, but service was very slow. Arrived on Christmas Eve for dinner and was seated promptly... after a small mix up, comical and funny. Was approached within minutes of being seated by a waitress who took our drink order, followed by another waitress just a few minutes later who again wanted to take our drink order. Drinks arrived promptly, butthis is where promptly ended. It took about 45 minutes before our appetizers arrived and then another 35 minutes for ourdinners. Now this is a special occasion and we are not rushed, but if they would only made eye contact or mention the kitchenwas backed up, it would of been appreciated. Now to the food, absolutely top notch. Baked stuffed Shrimp, Veal Cordon Bleauand Rack of Lamb, all rated a perfect 10. No room for desserts as we have plenty waiting for us at home. This place wasdecorated beautifully and this review only suffers from a waitress who may of been just a little overwhelmed with all of hertables, so this is in no way anything negative by the evening experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for aspecial evening out. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the menus, as they were worn papers that didn't go with thebeautiful atmosphere, but again only a suggestion. Read more
