My daughter's dairy and tree nut allergies limit her options when we go out for a treat. We were excited to try Memories due to... the number of choices for dairy free ice cream and good reviews of it. Disappointed to find that ALL of their dairy free icecream flavors were made with almond milk. My daughter was able to have sorbet and it was good, as was my ice cream, but wishthey had a couple of ice cream choices made with an oat or coconut milk base to give those with allergies a few more options. The quintessential New England ice cream shop - with great prices, giant portions, great flavors - all on an old dairy farm. ... It's a bit out of the way from the seacoast, but worth every mile! The only downside is the swarm of beetles that seem tosometimes frequent the shop on summer evenings. They don't bite or anything, but are just a nuisance. Read more
