I thought the food and atmosphere were good. It was the service that annoyed me. Our waitress really wanted to get our dinner... order so much she came by our table 3 times before our drinks and appetizer arrived. She returned again as soon as they werebrought to the table. It doesn't take long for dinners to be prepared and delivering the dinners before we have a chance tohave our drinks and appetizers just means we either have to hurry or let it get cold. Read more
Looking at the other reviews this one will not come as a surprise. This time was probably the last time for this Applebees since... it?s like the 5th time something has been wrong with our order. We always give them the benefit of the doubt despite orderingsteaks that are supposed to be well done that come practically raw and dripping blood. But this time we order the pretzels withbeer cheese because how can you really mess that up? Well we ordered to go and we look at the container of beer cheese and it?sliterally dried up and has maybe a half an inch of cheese in it. We payed for brew pub pretzels with beer cheese I didn?t pay 10dollars for four pretzels. This is ridiculous. So we decided to call the manager and kindly explain how the cup is dried up andcontains no cheese, but the manager indeed confirms that this is what the cheese is supposed to look like and that it?s theproper serving and that it?s simply that the cup is bigger than the dine in one. It is true that the to go cup is bigger thanthe dine in one but they at least fill up the entire cup when you sit down and dine in this wouldn?t fill the dine in cup upmore than half an inch!!! It?s actually laughable that the manager claims this is okay and it?s the proper amount. Way too manychances for a place that can?t seem to get ANYTHING right. But it seems as if most of the other reviews about this place are thesame. Maybe take some pride in your restaurant and fix what you need to do so your review page doesn?t look like this. Read more
I have heard how this particular restaurant has been in decline of late. But trying to be fair, we still decided on patronizing... this particular Applebee's again, to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will say that they do see less inviting than the lasttime we were there. I don't know if it was the staff, clientele , maybe both, or. neither. But something seem to bring down thefriendly or inviting environment from the past. Our meal was decent. All or our food seemed good and nothing to complain about.Well maybe my 8 ounce steak that seemed more like 4 ounce. But other than that., the food was fine. Nobody complained or walkedaway hungry. The prices are definitely higher than the past and not surprising in this country of late. But probably better thansome other chain restaurants. We had no issues with our waitress. Although she did seem a little too eager to get our order in.But to be fair to her, she was probably busy. Now one thing I did notice. It seemed like every table in the restaurant wasseated in just one area of the restaurant. Maybe keeping tables all gathered together is for keeping the rest of the buildingcleaner. But in this day of germ hysteria, I'm surprised they didn't spread tables out more, rather than tables being divided byinches. Read more
Service was good, food left a bit to be desired. Chicken was moist/soggy in the middle, and steak was overcooked- Medium became... Medium-Well due to the hot iron plate cooking the meat more. Also requested no onions, there were tons of onions. Read more
Just left, had lunch there with my husband..We attempted to pay for the meal and experienced difficulties with the iPad at the... table.. we waited to see if we could find our very kind and attentive waitress probably for about 5 minutes or so...we didn'tsee her as she was probably busy , I noticed a other waitress that was walking towards us, I politely started asking her if Icould ask her a quick question, before I could even finish my sentence she cut me off and said "ask your server "...I've neverexperienced anyone being so rude to me at this establishment. I am kind and always appreciative as I was once a server myself. Iwill say this , it does not matter if it is your table or not, if you work there and are able to answer a simple question , youowe it to the customer to try and assist. This woman treated me with disrespect and because of this I will not be returning. Ihave been a customer there for 10 plus years...I will be spreading the word as well...she should be fired because she certainlydoesn't care about other people or the wellness of this restaurant. Do research before you hire such wretched people. Still indisbelief this occurred. This woman had black curly spiral hair in a ponytail with glasses , she was on the heavy side as well.DO SOMETHING!! Was able to start out with a friend at the bar, while waiting for his spouse, terrific service, yummy Strawberry Daquiri (... hard to find these days! ) and then, sat down to dinner for three -- great, satisfying food for such affordable cost. Hey guys. So here I am with another review on another restaurant and updating my review on applebee's bar-and-grill. What can I... say nothing but perfection from the moment we entered the hostess greeted us completely and seated us right away um while wewere looking at the menus the bartender Danielle. Notice me right away and asked me if I wanted my usual Bahama mama thank youDanielle for the cherries you know I love them so much. Nothing but 5 star perfection this time around. The manager of therestaurant came over to greet me and we had quite the conversation while we were waiting for our food and beverages. I haveabsolutely no negatives to say tonight about the restaurant it was absolutely perfect. Thank you guys for such a wonderfulevening keep up the good work and keep it real. I had the 8 oz. Steak sizzler, which they are running a promo on all the sizzler dinners and they do not disappoint, plus I had... my favorite drink from there which is there mudslide it's the best. Customer service was amazing. My grandmother likes her steakblack n Bleu and it came out well, the server apologized profusely and took it right back and had a whole new one made before mygrandmother even said anything. Now that's amazing customer service. Will always keep coming back. Read more
