Very busy place. Great food with decent prices. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Sadly my first review of this place will be my last because I?ll never order from here again. Myself and my co workers have been... ordering from this establishment for years. They?ve delivered, we?ve picked up etc. lately people on the phone have been snippybut not compared to someone i spoke with yesterday morning ( Tuesday 27th at 8:50 am ) a man answered rudely to start. I said idbe ordering for delivery he asked for the address and I gave it to him. Asked it it was a business I told him a Military Armory.He was continuously rude during these brief interactions but even more so when he asked my name and i told him. Gasping andgetting louder he asked for me to spell it so I began spelling it phonetically, which in my mind made things easier. He thenyelled at me to just spell it regularly. So i hung up. Not once was this individual even remotely nice. Ive had better servicefrom a tissue box than this phone call. We will no longer be utilizing Home Plate for any of our needs. Read more
I ordered a large chef salad from here for pick up. When I got home all the meat was in a little cup as shown from the pictures... and packaged ranch. Very disappointed with what I got. Normally the ranch is homemade and the there is more meat. The price goesup, and the food goes down. Read more
Great sandwiches amazing breakfast deals. Need to try lunch next but from coworkers the lunch is just as amazing.
I had such high hopes?. But alas? So, ya know those ham sandwiches in the gas station? Where they load up the meat and cheese... in the window of the box, so the sandwich looks positively stuffed, but then you open the sandwich to find that?s it, and theother side is just bread? That?s this place, but worse, because they claim to be specialists at the thing. They?re a DELI. At$12.50 a sub, they should be ashamed to be pulling this stingy dishonest stuff. You?re charging top dollar, so fill mysandwich, for gods sake. Why the skimming attitude?. Oh. I forgot to mention, the two tiny banana peppers they added, for $.75.Just amateur hour. And the inside was disgusting. Gross smells of ammonia and piles of garbage everywhere. They don?t deserveto have the corner they have on the local market. Get your act together, Home Plate. Worst egg sandwich ever. The roll and bacon where like a rock and Stale. service is very rude. I would not recommend this place.
This place used to be great, I don't know what happened. The sandwiches are half the the size they used to be, the bagels are... hard as a rock to the point of being inedible, and it's genuinely sad because this used to be the spot to go. Last time I wentand recieved the same poor quality food, I was hoping it was a fluke. It does not appear that way. This is the new norm. Read more
The absolute worst breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Roll was flat and dry, the egg and sausage patty looked like they were... on the grill for 10 minutes. How can any business put out a product like this and expect customers to return? Read more
