Excellent all around. The Southern Benny was loved by 4 of our party, as were the pancakes, French toast, and waffle. They were... very busy, but the service was excellent. Plenty of coffee! Back in the day... would totally be the best diner in the area... but times change... along with prices, menu, serving sizes... also changing. The place does look amazing especially post renovation a few years back... and parking is fortunately hardly everan issue... One glaring change I personally dislike is the move to serving fries in little grocery carts... this trendy edit isno bueno... you get half of the amount of fries you used to get for the same price if not more... I just hope they don't fullytransition into serving food on non standard "plates"... Read more
In the age of fast food this diner stands above other restaurants in the area for their attention to detail and options to pick... up or stay in and enjoy your food and time. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap after a friend had suggested it, and there?s aperfect blend of chicken and spices that were very savory. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Read more
Today, while in Kingston, we decided to eat lunch somewhere different so we tried the Kings Valley Diner. What a great choice!... As we entered the diner, we were pleasantly greeted and seated. Our waitress Linda was friendly and attentive. We ordered aturkey panini w/curly fries, chicken soup, fried chicken w/mashed potatoes, corn and biscuits. The food presentation waswonderful, everything appeared homemade, and the overall taste of food was delicious. As an added bonus, there was enough forboth of us to take home leftovers. I highly recommend the Kings Valley Diner and will be going back the next time in Kingston. Read more
Was visiting the area this past week and tried several diners while there. This diner was the best out of the 5 that I tried.... The chicken soup was the best out of all 5. Clean, more updated and tasteful. Staff was friendly but on the slower inattentiveside and they appeared to have a good amount of staff so no workers was not the problem. Definitely a must try if in the areaand you have time to sit a bit. Read more
WAFFLES AND CALAMARI!!!! Been here a few times for breakfast and once for dinner while visiting family. They have a very large... menu so there is sure to be something for everyone's taste. My nieces and I love their great waffle selections, we had the friedcalamari for appetizers on our dinner trip and it is so good that we now have it at every visit, even with our breakfast.Service is also great and the food come out timely and in large portions. 5 ?? Bravo. We met up with our daughter to have a leisurely lunch. For starters, our Server Kellie was outstanding. I can?t say... enough positive things about her. You can tell this wasn?t her first rodeo?.her patience, her smile, her personality and herpromptness was an utmost. Thank you Kellie. Now for the food?. The menu has a full variety, the portions are very generous andprices are good! Not to mention that the food was all delicious! I had ordered the Spanikopita(Spinach pie) and it comes with adelicious Greek salad I?ve had this at other restaurants and I must say ?This Was The Best Spinach pie I have ever eaten?.
