It was one of the coolest ramen experiences I’ve had. I love how committed the chef is to her craft. You truly feel like... you’re sitting in a quaint and authentic restaurant in Japan getting a personalized experience. The flavor of the ramen isjust amazing. Highly recommend to anyone! Read more

Love this spot. One of my favorite Ramen shops outside of Japan - likely because it and the owner remind me of little spots in... Japan every time I stop by.\nToday, it\'s hard to find a ramen that\'s truly nutritious - that\'s Tanma\'s mainstay noodle. Read more

The ramen is simply phenomenal. The broth is rich and layered and oh so flavorful! The Miso Ramen is my favorite. The gyoza are... also handmade and amazing, both the veggie and the pork. Their beer list and sake list are also great. Top it off with the twowonderful humans who run it and it is by far one of the best restaurants in the area. Read more

Interesting spot, but not for the spontaneous-minded. You must call ahead to dine in, and you should also call ahead to take... out.\nNot knowing this, I dropped in to request something to go. They said it would take 15 minutes, but ended up being closerto 25. The noodle bowl, surprise surprise, turned out to be a \"finish at home kit\", which was not made clear up front.\nThegyoza and seaweed salad were excellent! And yes, when I finally got home and prepared the noodle bowl, it was delicious, too.\nIdo plan to return, but will make arrangements in advance. Read more

We used to drive to New Paltz for this chef\'s delicious onigiri and dumplings, and we were thrilled to hear that they were... opening nearby in Kingston. The wait was completely worth it.\n\nThe handmade dumplings are still quite remarkable, but wherethis shop really shines is in its ramen! The bar sized is the perfect size for our hungry 10-year-old, and the full size willleave your stomach groaning with liquid deliciousness and total satisfaction.\n\nThe sake selection is also something of note, and the cozy bar would be a great place to sit with a friend.\n\nMake your reservation and enjoy! Very personal experience. Despite having just opened in October 2021, this place set a golden standard for Ramen and for... Japanese cuisine and culture in the Hudson Valley. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly wait staff and a very positiveatmosphere. After being seated at the Ramen bar, we were offered drinks. The teas and authentic selection of other beverages wasawesome. We ordered the Yaki Gyoza, shown in one of the images. They were steamed and crispy on the bottom and very flavorful. We also ordered tofu, which was soft and delicate and extremely flavorful. The miso Ramen was the star of the show. It waspresented beautifully. But actually, the real star was the head chef herself. She was very passionate about her food and lovedexplaining how to properly eat Ramen and the tradition behind it. She loves talking about her recipes and experiences. She madeyou feel like you were the only people there. Unfortunately, due to covid, the seating is limited and it is reservation only butthey do very impressive and fun Ramen take out. They give you all the components and explain how to cook and assemble ityourself at home. This restaurant deserves more publicity and when covid restrictions lessen, I can see this place as an awesomehang out spot where you can stand in a portal to Japan in the middle of downtown Kingston. Some of the best ramen I’ve eaten outside of Japan. Delicious and complex broth, high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked... noodles. Fried yaki gyoza appetizers were incredibly fresh with a refined dipping sauce. Menu is compact and simple, and thefriendly proprietors offered careful advice on the best way to taste and savor the large steaming bowls of ramen. They evenserved up small scoops of green tea and red bean ice cream, on the house! To top it off, the meal was very reasonablepriced.\n\nIn Summary: Authentic Japanese ramen - highly recommended!
