We dropped by here just to kill some time while we waited for the cannon firing demonstration and ended up being pleasantly... surprised at how good the nachos were! The patio looking out to the lake/river was amazing with a cool breeze during summerdays. Read more

2nd time in a month we made reservations. First time we got called 30 minutes before to say the patio would not be opening due... to predicted poor weather (which did not occur but fair enough). However, made reservations again for yesterday. They did nothave a table for us, tried to say they had never received a reservation call from us but when I had the hostess listen to herown message confirming our reservation she changed her story to "well I am new here . . ." Poor management. So we drove 10minutes east to The Cove Waterfront Grill - great food, great price. Read more
Had reservations for the sunset dinner, it was a very windy cold day. The couple in front of us did not have a reservation and... asked to sit inside and were seated inside. When we asked to sit inside we were told there was no more room. So we were given atable on the patio in the cold wind. Then two more couples after us asked to sit inside and were promptly given tablesinside. When we got our salads both mine and my wife's were full of little bugs all mixed into our salads. We told a passingwaitress, who, instead of apologizing and taking the salads away, said she would tell our waiter, which she did not. Weeventually got our salads switched after we tracked down our waiter. Both our main courses and deserts were good and we enjoyedthem. When we eventually got our coffee/tea both our mugs were very dirty and the drinks were cold. So although the main courseand the desert were good, it didn't compensate for being passed over and made to sit in the wind (when other people were giventables inside) or the bugs and dirty dishes.
