The spicy tuna on dragon roll was super oily. Completely ruined my experience. I wonder why it's so highly rated this is... probably the worst sushi I have had. Read more

I'm sorry but this is probably the worst sushi I've ever had in my life! The sushi was flavorless and too oily and no where near... worth the price. The staff were nice but that doesn't change the fact this is incredibly overpriced terrible sushi. Don't wasteyour money and go somewhere else! If you like this sushi you've probably never had decent sushi in your life lol, even grocerystore sushi is better than this Read more

Hours are inconsistent. Often they will be closed on days that Google and Facebook list them as being open or they?ll close... early randomly. Sushi is hit or miss, but customer service is bad. Contacted Chois in multiple ways to let them know theycompletely skimped on a roll ? the veggie roll is $10 and supposed to have tofu, avocado, sweet potato and cucumber and Ireceived only cucumber and sweet potato. No response despite reading the message. Prices have gone up recently making eatingthere less worth it. Read more

Awesome sushi! Since it's a family run place, they will also put a little something extra in your order with no charge - so... nice! The rice is not a super thick layer and everything is super fresh - can't wait to go back! Read more

I keep telling myself I need to leave a review for this place. So, after 3 years (maybe more?) here it is. First of all, this... is a take-out sushi place. It has a clean and simple interior decorated with quality service. Kevin, the head chef, is the faceyou want to see when you're hungry. He hits you with a happy hello before your foot finishes crossing the threshold and no timeis wasted. You will get your food within 5-10 minutes. There is always one other person waiting for their food with you. Thisplace gets steady business and this is why: 1. Fresh ingredients: The fish is plump. The avocado is never brown. The cucumberscrunch and the rice is sticky. Every order is made with care and seasoned to never leave you dissatisfied. This is not the bestsushi I've ever had (I eat a lot of sushi) but I always go back. It consistently hits the spot and it's GOOD. 2. Service: Whenthis place first opened, I gave it a chance. The teal paint and big windows invited me in. I ordered off the blown-up menu onthe wall and was handed a neatly tied bag with "an extra hand roll for you". That, I thought was clever (and nice). What betterway to bring in business than free food. And It was the first time I ever got a free food that wasn't an apologetic back pedal. I at smiled the man with the smile and went back to my office. I ate and knew I would be going back. Since then, every time I'vevisited Choi's I've always felt like comfortable? Is that the right word? It just feels good to wait there. You hear the softchatter of the kitchen as the news plays silently on the screen before you. The stools are high and there is a fridge ofdifferent drinks for you to look through. Then, your food is ready. It's been three years and today was just a visit to the cityand guess what? "Extra roll for you". 3. Price: It's cheaper. Where a red dragon roll usually costs $13-14, its $10.90 here(called the orange dragon, their red dragon is with tuna). My spicy scallops roll was $4.90.Th Read more
