Went here to check out what all the hype was about. Not disappointed. Service was extremely friendly and the restaurant has nice... interior design. The fish is high quality and most dishes are not too expensive. The ?premium? fish is not as rare as you?d findin Toronto for example, but for Kingston I am pleased and satisfied. I had the premium chirashi and the ebi unagi oishisushi. The latter is full of flavour, but could use a bit more meat. Excited to come again! Read more

I have no idea how this place has such great reviews. Both sushi rolls we're soggy and falling apart. The tempora was absolutely... gross, soggy and tasted like pancake batter that wasn't even cooked. The soup tasted like watered down broth. I just dumped itdown the sink. Were they just having a bad day in the kitchen? Either way it's way too expensive for such a disappointingexperience. Read more

Oh man. This has to be my new favourite spot. Not only do they serve sushi in these very cool little boats, they greet you as... soon as you enter very warmly. The decor is a smart and minimal choice with a woody cabin feel and a section of bamboo wall asthe chef prepares sushi alongside the dining area. The musical vibe incorporates smooth jazz/rnb/hip hop playing tracks such asthose from nujabes. To top it off, the sushi I had was amazing! Read more
