Wings were pretty meaty and nice flavor. Waitress was on par with service and friendly.
We were looking forward to a night out and headed for St. Louis Wings which, in our experience, while not stellar, was alright. ... Last night, the wings were so overdone they got sent back to the kitchen. I didn't order anymore wings, but asked for somefries thinking there isn't much that can go wrong with fries. Wrong again. They were so overcooked they were hollow. Wewondered whether this is a product of the difficulty of hiring staff, especially good staff, in this current environment. Itwas a Wednesday night, but we thought perhaps this was not the best night of the week to have chosen. Who knows? The serverwas really good; no problem there. But we will not be going back. That?s a spot bar and grill that I would go regularly. Their golden fries accompanying most of the orders are superb. I like... their wings, ribs, sandwiches and sides. The personnel are kind and service level is excellent. Read more
I went to the location in the west end of Kingston. I literally got the worst service of my life. My server hit a full glass of... water onto me (by accident) and it spilled everywhere and she just stood there and didn?t even say sorry?? We got all you caneat wings and both mine and my mothers wings were so burnt they weren?t even edible, and they weren?t the sauce I asked for.When I nicely asked for a new set of wings with the proper sauce she just said ?ok? and walked away. When we got our new wingsthey still were the wrong ones. I also asked for a high chair and she didn?t bring one so I had to ask again 10 minutes later. Being from out west I am always a fan of this chain. This location was extremely clean, and modern. The staff were all amazing,... very friendly and helpful. I had a great evening with the bartender Emelyne and near the end of the night had some greatconversation with Al the owner. One of the best locations I have been too and would highly recommend. Three of us met there for lunch. Friendly and attentive staff. Coffee was fresh and tasted good. Soda drinks are well mixed and... not watered down. We had a variety of grilled meats.. All the meats were over-cooked quasi burnt, dry and texture of jerky...Theoil used to fry some of the foods is over used and saturated the meat with black crud. Not mad at the wings here and their fries are pretty good too. Not sure what was up with their spice level this night as we... ordered two different types of wings, both of which were at most a medium spice (according to the menu) but the one set of wingswas so spicy they were almost inedible. As someone who likes their spice and handles it well, I can say with confidence this waswell beyond a medium spice, it was insane. Too bad because the flavour was good but we definitely couldn?t finish them. Read more
Nov 19, 2022 ordered the chicken club with gravy and french onion soup. Everything was barely warm. Had to send entire meal... back to kitchen and Manager on duty never came over to talk to us. In fact he made it a point to not make eyes contact and avoidus at all cost even though it's the restaurant that didn't do their job! Very disappointed, would Not recommended St Louis onhwy 15 and won't be back! They were also short staffed with one waitress only! Read more
