We stayed at the hotel and added breakfast to our package. I wish we hadnt and explored other options instead. Although... convenient to have breakfast downstairs, we waited a while to be seated both days even though the restaurant was not too busy.Tables were not cleaned up or looked after and there was always alot of food on the ground. The buffet had the basics butnothing special - definetly not worth 20$. The carafe of coffee were a nice touch. I found this place by chance during a walk along the water front. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I will... be honest service was a tad slow, but the food was definitely worth the wait. My Dad had the MacKinnon Brother's Beer BatterFish and Chips, myself I had the Pear, Bacon and Brie Sandwich. Food is amazing, Experience feels like a soft opening. Took 25 minutes for a first round of drinks, half our table got food... after an hour then 30 minutes later the other half got their food. Asked for a second round of drinks with dinner and they came20 minutes after dinner was served. Staying at the hotel for business purposes - although I did look at other restaurants in the area, felt like this was fast and... gave me more time to finish up on work. Service was on par, nothing negative but also nothing to note positively. As shown inthe picture, the Smoked Meat Sandwich was quite lack-luster. The meat was Luke-warm and didn't have much flavour profile, otherthen mustard no extra addons and the rye bread was very soggy on the bottom. Honestly didn't look or taste like a brisket, but abeef roast. I can only imagine the meat if warmed up in a watered pan and the meat soaked up a bit. Massive pickle, almost tobig to eat (why not cut in 1/4?) Salad was decent. Next time, I am going to go to another restaurant if I stay at this hotelagain. Read more

I was there Thursday evening with my BFF on our 5th year anniversary. Let me just tell you. It was single handedly the BEST... dining experience both of us has ever had. Every single thing was rated 10/10. The food, the vibe, the table, the view and theservice. The food was literally the best steak we had ever tasted. It was cooked perfectly, nice and thick and sooo juicy. Thepotatoes were light and airy yet crispy on the outside and not greasy. The mushroom crustini was out of this world and I've beencraving it ever since, and the Pear Brie sandwich was to die for and like nothing I'd ever tried before. Our server McKenna andthe host McKenzie made our already perfect experience so memorable. They are both so pleasant and sweet. Super engaging and fun.Everything we ordered was McKenna's recommendation and she nailed it! I am counting down the days until I can go back and I willbe requesting the beautiful fire-table right on the water and in McKenna's section and I'll be ordering 2 portions of themushroom crustini haha. We happened upon this place by accident. Waterfront patio, delicious food and live music on top of it all. A real gem. We feel... like we won the restaurant lottery! Underwhelmed. We had the mussels to start, followed by the seafood pasta and the ribs for dinner. The mussels and the pasta were... good but nothing special. The ribs were pretty sad. Due to the higher price point I had higher expectations and yes the food wasdecent, but I could get the same or better for less elsewhere.
