Used to be on point. Doors are locked for breakfast. Time on door says 7AM. It's 730, not a soul in sight
Just recently ordered a sandwich platter and garden salad for 10 people for Tiffany Court and I was so impressed! They had... everything ready 100% on time. They had provided all serving utensils I would need from: tongs to serving spoons, to plates,napkins, and silver ware! They assisted me with carrying it out to my car! And to my surprise there was potato salad, coleslaw,and a container full of pickles! Staff members loved it and were complimenting how it looked before even trying it. First time at Pierce Street Deli because I was at imagery next door. Heard lots of great things so I thought I'd try it. Well,... I'm disabled and also have a broken leg and they only have one handicap parking and all the other spaces were taken at 1130 amso I had to park on the street. First demerit. Then they don't have prices on their board as you walk in so I thought how muchcould a salad with grilled chicken be. Also got a Gatorade and it came to 12 something. Really. So I sat down waiting for it andit came quickly but the grilled chicken was ice cold and not very tasty and the greens were ok but overall not very tasty. So Iate half and had used up all the dressing already and asked for a container and more dressing and I was told that I would becharged for the extra dressing. Really I said. Yeah she replied everything is going up. So I said don't bother. So I'm tellingyou...don't bother. It's not what its cracked up to be and there are a lot of other places to get a great salad like the MainBean in Luzerne or even Gerritys salad bar. So don't listen to the hype about this place and take your business somewhere else. Read more
Normally do not write reviews and not trying to bash just telling the truth. This is my third trip here in less than a month.... Two of the three visits including today they do not have the First Ave which is the pulled pork panini. Mind you I walked in at11 in the morning and they said they don't have any today. If you are not going to have something on your menu on a regularbasis perhaps you should edit your menu to show limited availability. That way people like me or people that don't live rightdown the street don't have to waste a trip. 25 minute drive both ways to be told they're out of pulled pork or decided not tomake it very disappointed. WOW. professional, punctual and thorough! We used the catering side of pierce street deli for our wedding. The food was hot and... delicious. served right on time and beautifully presented. Ken and his team were courteous to our guests and served 170 peoplein the blink of an eye. Multiple guests commented on timeliness and how the food was served hot. all set up and taken downwithout a commotion. Lastly, the staff personally went out of their way to always make sure the bride and groom were taken careof. thank you to you and your staff! Read more
DO NOT EAT HERE!! The service was awful. I waited almost 30 min for my order. When I finally got it 2 out of 4 orders were... wrong. No one apologized for our wait or their mistake Instead we were given excuses after excuses as to why it was taking solong. When I finally got upset they treated me like I was being irrational. Still no apologies. The manager finally shows upwhen I ask for a refund only to be just as rude and only apologized in a sarcastic manner. It then took another 5 min to get myrefund because no one in their staff knew how, including the manager. The staff is rude The service times are horrible Theorders were wrong And a simple task like a refund is difficult. People do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Read more
Delicious soup and tuna fish on rye. We also love their perogies and egg salad on rye.
