Just tried their breakfast for the first time, disappointed we waited so long to try it out! Delicious, home made pemeal... bacon, huge variety of omelets, great service and very clean and inviting. Will go again, and will definitely recommend.10/10! Read more
Nice family business. Good prices. However when I wanted to have pita bread versus toast lady wanted me to pay an up charge... which I thought was very disappointing and I let her know. A bag of Pita is cheaper than a loaf of white bread and doesn?trequire electricity as does toast. She said if could not afford it she would not charge me. On the way out I gave her a $5 tip.Oh I could afford it. You be the judge. Jim is a great guy. Service and food good. Yes I will go there again. Read more
It?s unfortunate but perhaps worth a share. My husband and I were visiting the Kingsville area. We were planning a full day of... driving and I needed to have a healthy breakfast. We walked along the strip of Main Street and came across Jim?s Sub. We enteredand were warmly greeted by, I can only assume, Jim. As we looked for a table I exclaimed that I felt like we were in the rightplace. My husband and I sat down. We ordered coffee and juice while we looked over the menu. When the daughter came to take ourorder I ordered two eggs with bacon, my husband explained that his stomach was a little upset and would just be having coffeeand juice. We knew my order came with toast and figured he would take a slice of that to help settle his stomach. Here?s theunfortunate part, when my order was delivered to the table, the server literally snatched my husband?s cutlery from the table,exclaiming that he would not be needing them. Talk about embarrassing! At this point other customers took notice. It wasembarrassing and shameful. My husband is in congestive heart failure and is on some heavy dose medication that affects hisstomach making any type of food in the morning undesirable. This is just a friendly reminder to Jim and his family that not allcustomers are looking to take advantage and it is not necessary to shame people. Look twice at the individual before you act.Having said that, I will say that the breakfast was delicious, I just didn?t enjoy it as much as I could have. Read more
The owners are extremely friendly. The restaurant is family run and you can certainly tell that they take pride in everything... their establishment has to offer. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. We were so satisfied with our breakfastthat we ordered subs to go for our dinner. We'll definitely be paying another visit as the owners told us that we need to trytheir Hookee next time. And yes we cast our vote for Jim's Sub Shop & Restaurant in the 'Community Voted Windsor 2022' in theBreakfast category.???? Read more

This was my first visit and it was overall a pleasant experience. We ordered the Combo Breakfast and Eggs Benedict with Peameal... Bacon. Our server was attentive and our food came out fast (and hot!). I wouldn't say the hashbrown portion was generous, but itwas flavorful. The hollandaise sauce on the Benedict was very creamy. We were here from out of town and came for two breakfasts, which were amazing! There are many classic options and also... countless interesting variations on their menu. What a warm and kind family business and friendly atmosphere. And theygenerously accommodated some dietary restrictions too. Love you J&J and wish we could come more often. Read more
