This place had me chanting GARY GARY GARY! Like an old episode of Jerry Springer! Long story short, there was a miscommunication... with our tee time and we were asked to play the same 9 twice (27 holes course). We didn?t drive 45 minutes with gas priceshigher than Charlie Sheen to play the same stretch of 9 twice. After some debate in the clubhouse about what should be done, itwas apparent that no one had any customer service skills. Insert Gary for his afternoon shift and boy did the mood ever change.He met us halfway through our first 9 with some free passes and some word of encouragement, sort of like listening to Faldo on aSunday. We proceeded to finish that 9 were we we met with a round of delicious brews and Gary was able to squeeze us onto thegold nine (one of the best 9 holes stretches in Essex County). Amazing course with 3 different 9 hole rounds. Greens and fairways were in good shape. A little disappointed to see a marshal... talk to a group of 6 teens teeing off on our back 9 on Saturday evening and allowing them to continue playing. Poor judgementcall which resulted in a huge backup. The group of 6 didn't even have the decency to ring the bell on 4 which made us wait evenlonger. Read more
