This restaurant was out of this world. Everything was delicious from the eggplant primo to the filet mignon and chicken mains.... Fresh, aromatic, and just plain great. I and my son travelled to Montreal for his soccer tournament and this place was close to our hotel and had a good review. I... ordered Soltani (Filet mignon kabab + Koobideh or ground beef skew kabab) and my son ordered Barg kebab (Filet mignonkabab) Koobideh and rice were just delicious and the meal portions were just right. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and it isclean. The Filet mignon kabab, however, was a combination of Filet mignon and another cheaper/chewy meat. The combination ofmeat on the skew was selected such that you eat one piece of Filet mignon followed by a piece of chewy meat. This was the casein both orders, very disappointing and cheating by the restaurant manager/owner. Service wasn?t good either as most of theIranian restaurants. This is a great discovery! I didn't think I would find such a great Persian restaurant in Montréal area. I tried many Persian... restaurant in downtown Montreal and it was a shame to our culture. I discovered Grill Select in West Island and it was anexcellent Persian restaurant!!! I ordered the Sultani Kabab (barg kabab+Koobideh kabab), my wife ordered a plate with mix ofkoobideh and joojeh kabab and my mom ordered the koobideh plate (2 skew of koobideh kabab). My wife asked if she could havechicken thighs instead of chicken breast and you have the choice. We also had the Mast e Moosir (wild garlic in thick yogurt).Each plate was served with either Soup (Ash e reshteh) or salad with a side of safran rice and grilled tomatoes. All kakabs werefresh, juicy and cooked to perfection. It is a small restaurant but we could see many people eating inside. It was exquisite andreminded me of Iran. I highly recommend if you love true Persian kabab. Their staff was very welcoming, nice and friendly. Thisplace is a GEM ???? in the Montreal area. If you want to discover Persian kabab, definitely try this place. The quality andquantity is very good. Please see my pics, you will see how authentic is this place. They don't do fancy decor to attracttourists but they serve you amazing food. Please note that this is a restaurant in which you can bring your own wine and also inaddition to Persian cuisine, this place serves also Greek Cuisine. I didn't try their Greek specialty but if they are as good asPersian, this would be amazing. In term of price. It was good considering the quality and quantity served. We were stuffed andcouldn't even have any dessert after that. We couldn't finish all the rice. This place serves also Dough which is a yogurt drinkwe usually have in Iran when it is hot or when we have Kabab. They also give you raw onions, sumac etc if needed. The place is very neat and well served, Sorena who served us,... is a great waiter, so nice and so professional with his questions to make sure we are comfortable and are enjoying food. thefoods itself it deserves more than Five star ratings.
