Great south indian food. Get the Appam plate and curries . Its the best . The server and host were friendly even when the place... was super busy . A long wait but definitely worth it . We got two plates of appam, chicken stew , kerala meen curry and thejackfruit infused dosa. Loved all of it ! Highly recommend this place if you would want to explore south India food of akind. First time and wanted to have some good kerala food . First of all the parking is so disorganized! It?s so tough to get a... parking . And then the wait time ! Had to wait for an hour almost . When we went in , it was almost the time for last order ! Ok.. after all this wait , we were waiting for good food .. Took them 20-30 mins to bring all. Veggie options were very less .Had to buy some beetroot curry which was ok . They recommended some chicken chilli but it was like wings but with Indian spice .Not my taste ! It was more for gora visitors .. aapam was good . Parotta too was good . Goat curry was the best . Atlast wetasted something keralite .. service could be better . I ordered Goat Biryanis and naan bread for lunch today. The food was ready on time to get picked up and the staff that was... handling the orders pick up was very friendly. I opened the Biryanis container when I got home and I was shocked that theyplaced inside the hot food a plastic container with sauce in it. This was extremely disgusting as never in my life I have seenany restaurant does that. This is a health hazard. Who puts a plastic container in the middle of hot food ??? Back to thefood, the Biryani's was good. It was a large portion and there was so much meat too. So the food was good. The Naan bread wasok. I had better. I would have given them 4 stars if it was not for placing that plastic container inside the food container. You can see the picture. I am hoping that the owner takes care of this situation ASAP before they get someone sick. I throughaway that container in the garbage and I removed the food around it and put in the garbage too which was a waste. Sigh! ???? I love their food! Their Kerela dishes are true to their original flavors and is delicious!! The service was pretty... good too. We tried the Nair Kada Chaya(Chai tea), Kappa & Chili Chutney (definitely try this!!), Kale Onion Cashew Pakora,Aappam(????), Chakka potato stew, mango pulisery(not my fav, but yummy still!), kasuri methi chicken, and finally Chakka ela adafor desserts! Authentic Kerala Cuisine. The service was really nice and quick. Felt the price is a bit higher but the food quality was nice.... For some reason there was no provision to give tip, not sure if this was an error. Will definitely go again. Read more
We went on a Sunday afternoon and the wait time was around 30 minutes. Since they let us to pre order the items while waiting,... food came faster as soon as we got the table. Very good customer service and of course great authentic Kerala food. We orderedlots of items such as Paruppu vada, kappa, vegetable ishtu, kadalai curry, mango puliseri, pepper mushroom dosa, aapam, Malabarparoata, vegetable biriyani. I liked all the items we ordered. My first favorite was mango puliseri with Malabar paroata. Kadalacurry and aapam combination was too good. Read more
