The place is great—they have Tuesdays “$1 Off rolls, so you should make a reservation or be prepared to wait. The food is... great, but I’ll never go here again. Maybe I can see calling an order in, and picking it up To-Go. You can do that, too. Butlast Tuesday that we went, in August 2022, I think our meal took a good two hours. Most of the time waiting. From ordering outfood to receiving it was a good long One Hour. Nothing is that good, for me—if I were sitting at the bar swilling beer &tequila shots, it would be fine: wait, no problem! But no matter the beloved company of friends & family, sitting at a tabledrinking ice water for an hour gets boring pretty quickly, that’s just me. The food’s great as I said; if you get them todelivery a salad with ginger dressing & a cup of miso soup, that will use up 15 minutes of the hour. Good luck! Read more
Always a great meal! I got takeout from Wasabi Kirkwood to celebrate a special occasion. Everything was packaged well. I do... think the lettuce in the bottoms of the cardboard packages could be omitted, as it wilts from the heat and I always throw itaway. I ordered the Washington and Philadelphia rolls, as well as crab Rangoon and the stuffed jalapenos. Tuna and jalapeno issuch an unusual combination, but I'm here to tell you it WORKS. And their honey wasabi mayo is unbeatable. In person, I tend tovisit the CWE location, but the Kirkwood location has always made delicious takeout in my experience. Read more

We were able to get group of 9 seated on Sunday night. Service was great, accommodating our 5 slightly loud kids with limited... menu preferences. We loved shrimp combo for kids, ocean and geisha rolls were delicious. Also, fried ice cream to polish it! Read more
Omg this is the best Sushi and Japanese cuisine. They do an amazing job of pleasing your pallet at this place, and the beauty... and care they put into every little detail of plating and presentation of their Bento box is exceptional.
