My family and I stopped by for lunch yesterday. We are visiting family and aren't familiar with the area. So, we googled places... close by and thought the food looked pretty good from pictures. We got up to the host stand and there were some people ahead andthen quite a few behind that showed up a minute after we did. I was floored by the people already complaining about having towait for a table outside or having to wait in line to be served at all. Those poor girls were running around the host stand andgetting people sat (I believe one girl was actually one of the bartenders who ended up being our waitress) We got up to thefront next and we were more than happy to sit inside, since that was all that was available. As the girl was starting to walk usto our table, she was stopped by someone complaining about waiting for tables outside. She politely handled everything andgently said she was going to seat us and she would be back to help them. I think I heard this poor girl catch flack a few timessince we had gotten there. We were sat and taken care of by Amy, I believe is her name. I'm sorry if I got that wrong! She wasnice and got our orders in quickly. She was running around and looked so busy but she was always sweet every time we neededanything. The food was so good! By far one of the best chicken clubs I've had! The beer was great too! Outstanding. Saturday evening, they were understandably busy, but we were seated in minutes. The staff was attentive, prompt... and courteous. Our food and complex cocktails arrived far more quickly than we dared to expect. There's definitely morecomprehensive training happening there than at the restaurants we have been going to. The staff functions as a team and itshows. Keep it up, we are making Tavern 6 our new go-to dinner spot. Read more
