Very nice looking inside well decorated. I was properly greeted by a young man when I walked in and an older lady took my order.... Very inexpensive $12. I only waited about 10-15 minutes for my order but I looked around the restaurant so it went by fast. Igot the Jerk chicken with peas and rice and vegetables and two people can actually eat that 1 plate and be satisfied. Omg! Thefood smelled amazing and tasted equally good. The chicken was well seasoned, moist and tender. The cabbage and carrots were verytasty. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: The rice however was over cooked, mushy and very bland. I will definitely visit again!! I’ve been ordering Fruit Cake from Better U Dining for a few years for my home and my sister’s home and they never seem to... last up to Christmas… they are that good! Yum! This year my sister added a few extra for gifts and some are not even going tomake it to the gift box. ???????????. They are moist and delicious. My brother in law and sister can’t get enough of it andit’s gone in a few days at my house. Next year it’s staying boxed and in the car till the week of Christmas! It is very unfortunate that I have to give this place a 1 star rating as I really want my local businesss to be successful;... regretfully, I went to this establishment for lunch today. We dined in, and ordered codfish cakes, Latino fish, and oxtail withrice and peas . The appetizer was sent back because it was mainly batter and not a sign of fish present. The main dishes arrivedshortly after and was prepared and presented nicely. The server was very cordial, but this was not enough to help me get pastthe disappointment of being served luke warm tap water, and sitting in an uncomfortably hot dinning room. My biggest issue isthe way we were spoken to at check out. Specifically, the older woman who argued that there was no reason to remove theappetizers from my bill, even after I explained that I had sent it back with the server. After she verified what I said, noteven an apology was offered; instead, she rudely raised the palm of her hand and proceeded to remove the whopping $7.99 off ofmy bill.. in summary, poor customer service, sub-par food, and no ac in the dining area. I was so impressed by this food! You can tell the chef takes pride in what she does! I had the Vegan sampler and was very glad I... did!. Everything in the box was done to perfection!. Only downside was the ackee and Callaloo was a tad bit too salty.. butnevertheless, I was excited I can try a veggie version of ackee without the salt fish! Thank you for serving veggie/Veganoptions and making it soo yummy! My only wish is that I didn't live so far from you! Read more
Delicious!! We tried a little bit of this and that. We have to come back for the famous pineapple ginger drink and jerk chicken.... The oxtail was awesome and the Mac n cheese oh my!!! I'm a grumpy picky eater and this was definitely worth the visit. Read more
Hidden gem in the heart of Downtown Kissimmee. The best Oxtail in Central FL!!! This is my Friday night staple after a long... week. I can't believe I've been hiking to "Caribbean Sunshine" and "Singh's Roti" for years when the best West Indian food isright in my back yard. Yes, the have paratha roti. In my opinion, this place is superior to "Jah Love" which is far betterknown but not as good. I'm at a lost as to how I've missed this place in the 4 years I've lived here. I literally workedaround the corner, passed it every day, and had no idea it was there. This food was so good that I had to call the restaurant in between helpings to let them know how amazing it was. The jerk... chicken and boston style jerk pork were the best meat I've eaten in years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I wish I livedclose enough to frequent Better U Dining because they would have a dedicated repeat customer if I did. You've got to try this. Read more
