The best Italian food I have ever had and Maggianos is high on my list!! BRUNOS IS EVEN BETTER!!! We (including my children)... count down each year until vacation just so we can eat the delicious Alfredo and pizza!! Don’t be afraid to try the deliciouspasta dishes also, the pizza is so good dipped in Alfredo for years we never tried anything else which we deeply regret aftereating pasta dishes this trip!! We ordered a pesto pizza. It was good, a little bit too oily. I would have appreciate it if it tasted like olive oil, i’m... assuming they just use vegetable for the pesto. I’ll come back to try it with marinara. Read more
Dont let the location fool you, for a restaurant in an older strip mall, the place was nice, the servers were a lot of fun and... the food was the best. I had the shrimp parmesan special. Absolutely wonderful! Read more
Ordered pizza and garlic rolls as take-out. We have lived near Bruno’s for years and I’ve always talked about wanting to go... there, and we finally ordered their pizza. It was amazing! The dough was clearly fresh, and the cheese on the pizza washands-down the best cheese I’ve ever had on a pizza. Their toppings were fresh, and I really liked how they used a differenttype of sausage than you’d typically see on a pizza. I also really enjoyed the sauce. The garlic rolls were also really good,and it tasted like they used fresh garlic rather than a powder garlic - which I appreciated. The only thing is the dough itselfdoes not taste yeasty at all - not necessarily a bad thing but I enjoy the taste of yeast. This wasn’t the best pizza or thebest garlic rolls I’ve ever had, BUT it was better than Flippers in my opinion. Definitely will be ordering pizza as atake-out again! And now that I know the pizza is good, it gives me reason to hopefully dine-in one day when our toddler is upfor it. In terms of staff - because I see a lot of complaints about them - THIS is an AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant, withItalian owners. They were so nice when we went in to grab our pizza, and we had the privilege to see how they interacted withother guests. As Americans, we may feel like they are off-putting people, but you need to keep in mind Italians are generallyreally straight-forward people that don’t beat around the bush, they are not being rude, so try not to take it personally.This is a family owned restaurant and it was great, can’t wait to continue to give them my business in the future! I did a search for this on Google as it said, it didn’t even come up in the top 10. My only positive remarks are in regards to... the garlic knots. That was about the only thing that was at least somewhat prepared appropriately. The pictures provided presentthis entire meal in a much better light. Both chicken dishes were not cooked to order, I say this because the chicken breastswere premade and warmed up. (This was hugely noticeable). It was also pretty concerning to see the chef in the kitchen without ahairnet, not to mention most of the staff members when they brought up plates their thumbs were within most of the dishes. Forme that’s a big turn off. In between a business alarm going off at least twice during this day and one of the other waitstaffhaving to check in on the manager who either appeared to be asleep, sad, or something else. This was definitely an unforgettableexperience. I don’t know about authentic Italian, but this was suspect at best. I would be very reluctant in suggesting thisplace at all. If you like tasty pizzas with personality, Bruno is the place. The food is great, with fresh ingredients. The menu is classic... with some cool original recipes, and the drink selection is large. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere very nice,specially the outdoor patio. The prices are reasonable for what you get. I will definitely come back! Read more
