This was our first visit with o Joe?s Crab Shack and it was anticlimactic. The appetizer, Fire Balls, were yummy with ranch on... them but had little flavor without. If you like a little kick but not good on hot then these are perfect. The Jalapeño wasenough to tingle your tongue but not be painful and the kick did not last long, no painful after-burn. The French fries thatcame with the fire balls were hot and crispy with soft centers. That was the only highlight to the food. We ordered the PiratePlatter with broccoli and East coast platter. The grilled shrimp in the Pirate Platter was so over cooked it reminded me ofstale bubblegum. The seasoning was decent. The grilled tilapia was very greasy and the seasoning was tasteless. The fried fishbatter was the consistency of cardboard, very hard to cut and tasted about the same. I took two bites and had to stop. The friedpopcorn shrimp was standard, kind of hard to mess that up. I will say the the shrimp inside was tender which was a pleasantsurprise after the grilled shrimp texture. My husband ordered the East Coast platter and described it as lackluster. The crabcake was good with a little flavor and nice moist texture. A plus was that there was no shell in the crab cake which is hard todo. Otherwise, the platter was edible but not enjoyable. The salads were fresh and crisp. The Ranch dressing and balsamicvinaigrette were delicious. Coleslaw came with both platters and was a little different with a variety of flavors and nicelycool and crisp. It wasn?t exactly sweet but did lean that direction. I didn?t try the broccoli I ordered so can?t comment onthat. The service was good. We were seated immediately upon arrival and it was a little busy at 6:00pm. The server came overpromptly and took our order. The appetizer came out quickly and was followed by the entire meal meal about 10 minutes later. First day of our Florida vacation, our younger children were wore out, so tired... from the heat and youngest got sick right in your front dinning area. Your staff was exemplary!! Darius was a top notch server everything went flawlessly drinks were great from the bar. Appetizers were right on time and hot. ... The seafood was fresh like they caught it there. Food was good, however ordering a dinner for two @ the rate of $82 was not worth it. There wasn?t enough food for 2 people and... we ended up grabbing a snack somewhere else after we ate here. Server did his job, but was a little slow on refills and gettingitems for us. Food was delivered to us with out silverware, so we had to wait several minutes for server to come back for him toget the utensils for us. Sweet tea had some sweetness to it, but mainly water downed. My biggest complaint was the price of footfor two when the quantity of the food was pretty much for one person. Read more

There was almost a 45 minute wait time. The playground in front of the restaurant definitely helped keep the kids entertained... while we waited. Our server was FANTASTIC! He was attentive and always had a funny comment! The food arrived quickly and wasdelicious! There's plenty of parking available too! We went there for our son's birthday dinner, as his choice of restaurant. We have been to this location before so we knew what... to expect, and as always we were not disappointed. The Cajun steam pot was awesome, my son and I had the 2 people's choice andwe were very satisfied with portions size. There is a gluten free menu that is for most part, celiac safe, which is great,however, IF you are celiac, do not eat the butter, as it is a butter blend and it contains gluten. The crab is steamed in aseparate room from kitchen, so there is no cross contamination risk. We will definitely be back. Read more
We enjoyed our time at Joe's Crab Shack. Staff was friendly. It was busy during out time at the restaurant but service was fast.... Food was great. If you're looking for a quiet night out this wouldn't be the place to go. It was very lively ???? here. Veryfun atmosphere. We visited Joe's several times during our stay! Read more
