Had a truly amazing experience at Olive Garden tonight. Even though they were packed and very very busy we were seated extremely... fast with a friendly smile and courteous service. The food was delicious and much more than we could even eat in a singlesitting we took most of it home. However the real stand up of the night was the waitress Angie she is a true professional anddeserves a huge raise!!! Ugh. The only good thing about my experience was my server, sweet Destinée. I went there against my better judgment because I... wanted fresh salad. The salad would’ve been alright if it had not been because of the dressing. The vinegar was way too bitterand with an after taste. I ordered the lasagna. Big mistake. It looked like it had been made days ago. Very dry and it seemedas if they had used macaroni pasta as a filler. I had Olive Garden about 4 years ago as take-out on Long Island, NY. The 3different items we got, were so bad, straight to the garbage it went. At least they’re consistent. How can they call this‘Italian food’ is beyond me. I don’t understand how so many have given this restaurant five stars. There’s no way thisis a five-star establishment. The food is pitiful. Even the breadsticks, I couldn’t enjoy. Way, way too salty. One of the best dining experiences in the area. Simple to order and frankly delicious. The breadsticks, as always, were... fantastic. We went in tired and moody and wanting to eat something quickly, and left in a way better mood! We ordered pastas anddips. Everything, from our server to our food, was great.
