Every surface in this restaurant is sticky and gross. The walls, tables, chairs, floors, everything. The high chairs are so... filthy that I didn?t even want to take the time to wipe them down. The food is the same quality and price that it?s always beenbut is now served in plastic to go plates with plastic cutlery. This will be the last time I visit. Pei Wei is a chain that was once owned by PF Changs but has split from them back in 2017. They menu options are wonderful and... consistent across each location. The food is prepared to order and service is quick. This particular location is good withservice recovery. Once I came in and was not pleased with the taste of an option I choice due to a problem with a wok it wasprepared in, they happily prepared a fresh alternative to make it right. But I can say about this place coming in at 8:00 at night. I order a Bourbon chicken fried rice entree for dinner and didn't... expect it to be Bland and also rushed and still undercooked raw rice Not so happy.. My older brother ordered a dann dannnoodles classic entree And furthermore He loved it.. And the crab wonton was very bland and it tasted frozen from package just grease taste and frozen gross ???????? And also when trying to sit down on looking for a seating everything was disgustingthey didn't even clean the booths ?????????????????????????????????. If a picture is worth a thousand words see my chicken egg roll below. I called and reported my concern, the manager Charlie... said that they are pre cooked and offered to refund the egg roll, however my biggest scare is food poisoning. As you can seethat?s raw chicken inside. I hate having to give this rating. The service was nice and fast. My son LOVES the new bourbon chicken entree. The only reason... I'm giving this 2 stars is because there was a rubber band in my meal. I was 3 bites in and I agree with my son it's reallygood. However I can't take on more bite after finding the rubber band. First time trying this place and I was highly disappointed! The food was disgusting! We ordered 3 meals this evening; for... myself, my husband, and son, and none of us enjoyed our food at all. I made myself eat some of it because I paid for it, but therest is going in the garbage. I just can't stomach finishing it. My husband threw half of this away too. Our eggrolls were soggyand had oil spilling out of them, everyone's rice was gummy, flavorless and soupy, the chicken tasted low quality and had a veryodd bouncy texture. We all ordered fried rice, which is an upcharge, but my son was given white rice instead. By the time we gothome and noticed it was not worth driving back for. This was my first visit to a Pei Wei restaurant. You order you food, get your drinks and condiments, find a table, and your food... is delivered. There was a large lighted display before you reach the register. It was very easy to read and showed a descriptionof menu items. I wish there was a picture of each entree for those of us who don't know what to expect. A smaller menu was alsoclearly displayed at each register making it easier to order. Looked like they have self service kiosks but someone took ourorder. He was personable, friendly, and helpfully responded to my numerous questions. We paid for full sized Honey Chicken andTeriyaki Chicken. He gave us a table tent and cups. We walked over to get our drinks, napkins, and condiments. Our order wasdelivered as soon as we sat at a table - very prompt! Our food was tasty, fresh, and warm. White rice was room temperature.Honey Chicken was little too sweet for me and I didn't realize it would be breaded. This is why pictures would be helpful. But Iate all of it :) The restaurant appeared to be clean in general. I took away 1 star because the condiment station andsurrounding space seemed neglected. It needed to be wiped down and swept. No knives and no ice in one machine. Take outcontainers were out and opened - yuck. I think they should be turned upside down at least to prevent spray from coughs andsneezes. Just to help anyone looking to order from this place. I can give some good advice since I was going to them for over 3 years and... even saw a change in management. Food used to be amazing, like so good and we would get saucey deliciousness. Once they wereunder new management, they must have gotten a cheapskate and some inexperienced cooks. All of the food now is bland, flavorless,no sauce in the noodles or food at all, probably the most disgusting now then ever before. They literally lost so much buisnessonce they decided to half prepare everything and cut so much of the actual part of the food. For the price you are paying, it isa waste of time, they will make you pay extra to get a normal amount of sauce because everything is so dry and nasty now. Stayclear of this location. Nothing good has come of it, and all the flavors have changed. Purely nasty and its sad I can no longerenjoy this used to be hotspot. Based on all the previous reviews im surprised they haven't fixed the nasty going on. They willprobably close down within a few years I am betting. Read more
