A good spot to spend a weekend afternoon. A huge menu selection and great staff. It was tricky to find seating because a lot of... people were there alone with their laptops but were taking up tables that could seat 4 people. They also sell lots of cool artand stickers and pins to support local artists which is an added bonus. Read more

After serval positive experiences dining here, I was compelled to write a review. This is my favourite lunch cafe in the... downtown core. Food is ???? and coffee is top notch. What I ordered: 1 x Black Bean Burrito w/ Chips and Guac What Iliked: Service ? service is always consistently good. Quality ? if you are looking for a bleating, quality meal or beverage,look no further. Value ? if you feel you?re paying too much for what you receive then you?re probably not their key customerbase. Interior Vibes ? soft seating lounge area, barstool seating as well as traditional cafe seating. A variety of seatingoptions for whatever you?re feeling. Lots of natural light from the floor/ceiling windows. I don?t have anything bad to sayabout Cafe Pyrus. Takeout: flat white, shake, pastry for $15. Coffee was ok but foam was non existent, the shake was not sweet which is good to... know. 95% vegan except for cheddar cheese? I would remove the yellow #5 cheese. Read more
Fantastic place for vegetarian or vegan ppl. There are rare places where there are not only wide range of veg options but they... are also delicious, all of them! I loved the place and food quality and the staff is very friendly and warm. If you appreciatethe veg food, cafe pyrus should be a must visit on king street. They also sell multi grain, fiber and protein containing organicbrownies, and cupcakes. We ordered, hot chocolate, angry vegetarian, club sandwich on the side of salad and chips. Hope thishelps. Absolutely love Cafe Pyrus ???? Cafe Pyrus is one of my favourite small businesses in K/W. Their food is amazing, even for... someone who not vegan or vegetarian. I love the options you are given here. Food/Drinks The entire food menu can be made glutenfree for $1 or if you?re not feeling a side you subtract $2 from your total. I believe any sandwich can be made into a wrap aswell. My favourite is the Angry Vegan with a soup. (My favourite soup is the tomato, but the lime, and pumpkin weregreat!) Their desserts are also great. I have had the peanut butter cup, which was good, but very melty in the hands. Thenanaimo was also great and a little less melty. The drinks! I am not a coffee lover, but their lavender iced latte wasdelicious! My favourite drink is the Foggy London Town. (Lavender syrup, steamed milk, and earl grey) I have tried many drinkshere and you can?t go wrong. Cafe/Vibe The cafe is an excellent place to sit and study/work. Their is a water pitcher with cupsto grab yourself, which I love because I don?t have to feel bad asking for a bunch of water. It is currently covered inChristmas decor, which is really getting me in the Christmas spirit. I also noticed coming here that they do art features, I?veseen @arcasian__ and now they?re doing one of my classmates, @partypoisioner! I love the local representation. For music, expectindie-pop, alternative. Great vibes, not too loud and great to keep a conversation with someone. (Shoutout to the person whoplayed Midnight Rain!) There is street parking, but if you?re planning on staying, there is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm parking for $2.24an hour (rough estimate) All in all, Cafe Pyrus is a must visit and I wish I lived much closer so I could be a regular.
