Always a great experience at Highland Shawarma! Their Gyros are amazing. Everything is priced well and their service is always... friendly. If you?re in a rush, call ahead because they?re often busy, usually 10-20 min for an order at peak meal times. (Not acomplaint, just like to give others a heads up). My fav place in KW for shawarma!! WORST shawarma (shameful to even use the name shawarma) plate we have ever had! Burnt potato, mayo as sauces, no hummus, no... garlic sauce, no tahini sauce, and in addition to all that, tiny portion of everything even though we paid extra for moretoppings. Look at the picture! HORRIBLE! Read more

Tried the #falafel #shawarma at this place and trust me this is the best in #kitchener. The falafel were fresh and cooked... in-house. They were not frozen. The quality of food here is at a different level and price is also very reasonable. Read more
I?ve been to this shawarma spot since 2007. They never let me down. Ignore any bad reviews about this place. Clearly those... people are used to eating bad tasteless shawarma. The only complaint I ever have is they don?t pick up the phone all the time soyou have to order in person. I ask for less lettuce he gives me less lettuce. I ask for extra hot he makes it extra hot. Not good shawarma. I would not try again. Chicken was dry and rice has no flavors at all.
Great food at a great price. On my last visit, my family ordered the Full Flavour Shawarma and the Shawarma Plate with Rice,... along with a side of fries. The portions are generously sized and we had leftovers. The meat was tender, juicy, and wellseasoned. All of the fillings/toppings were fresh. The fries were a little over-cooked and dried, though on another visit theywere great. Still, I would return again for another order the next time I get the urge for shawarma. Read more
They have their own touch on Shawarma. You can find many Shawarma Places in the KWC area, but once you have it from here, you'll... always keep coming back for more. Even with limited options on the menu, each item is delicious. Read more
