Classic pub with different beers on tap to choose from. The windows open up so you get a nice breeze in the evening without... being directly on the patio. It wasn't busy when we arrived, and we were able to get a seat relatively quickly. The service wasgreat and the food was tasty as usual. Read more
Had dinner on the patio. Server was delightful and welcoming. Fish and chips where larger than life had to take half home. Paid... the bill and where never rushed to leave definitely will come back. Read more
Very disorganized. This is the second time we've been in Kitchener for the Blues Festival and both times turned away from this... pub by security. Even when tables are available they say it's full and instead of having a host at the door, this task is dealtwith by unfriendly security guards. There is clearly a lack of staff as we hear the wait staff continuously apologizing for latefood. You'll also have 2 guests occupying booths for 4-6. Very inefficient especially when so many guests come down for thefestival. I understand that staff issues are common these days but these issues existed well before the pandemic. Read more
Went in for dinner, only 3 tables full. Was told to seat myself so I did. Waited over 5 minutes while the servers chatted... behind the bar, no one even came to take my drink order or bring me a menu? And they certainly weren?t busy. I waited 8 minwithout being acknowledged at a table by myself before walking out; unnoticed. If this is how long it takes to even get a menuin a practically empty restaurant, I didn?t want to see how long it took for anything else. How many customers do you losewith this poor service? Edited to add: they also had the garage doors open on a 30 degree humid day, making the restaurant hotand uncomfortable. Read more
Ordered through Uber eats so was unable to go take our food back to the restaurant to complain/exchange. Was TOTALLY... disappointed to have spent so much money on VERY disappointing food AND they messed up the order. The Greek salad was missingthe black olives. They used goat cheese on it instead of feta. Ordered ?Garlic Cheesy Bread? that as my pictures shows, had nocheese at all on it. Just plain old garlic bread for the price of ?cheesy bread?. And their antijitos are literally a thin layerof cream cheese in tortilla. No flavor. No spice. No jalapeño at all. My order of fries was the only thing made right andtasting good. I tried calling the restaurant to explain the mess up they made on my order but no one answered the phone eventhough I called many times. I tried emailing the restaurant to express my disappointment and ask how they can remedy my totallybotched meal. No reply. I gave feedback on UberEats as well. Felt like such a waste of money to be missing ingredients and adisappointing dinner. I don?t normally write Google reviews except to give positive feedback but with not receiving a reply fromthe restaurant I am left at a loss and I feel reviewing on here is the only way to be heard. Food was good especially the Mac and cheese. My SO's bacon cheeseburger had neither bacon nor cheese. Staff quickly fixed this.... Didn't get good attention for refills however they were pretty busy. Read more
