Had some dinner in a Thursday night. Place was not busy but well staffed. Service was friendly and prompt. Ordered butter... chicken bowl and pistachio crusted salmon. The butter chicken was delicious as was the salmon. The salmon came with mashedpotatoes and asparagus, which was a little bit undercooked but was still very good. Would go again. Read more
Friendly staff & nice atmosphere! Food/drink (although good) are a bit pricier for what you get compared to other places. Pasta... at $25 is usually what I see at the super high-end restaurants but still a well deserved 4 stars nonetheless. Read more
We had an excellent family dinner and felt very welcome. The place wasn?t very busy for a Friday evening so it kept it quieter... and good with the kids. Our server was polite and present. The food was excellent. The children enjoyed their enchiladas. I hadthe New York strip and it was charred perfectly, potatoes and asparagus were very flavourful. We also had an order of thechicken club and fries with a GF bun and it was yummy and fries had excellent seasoning. Two desserts: one mud pie and onecheesecake to top it off. Read more
What a fantastic atmosphere, and fantastic staff. We went during happy hour so ended up with some discounted drinks and food.... The fries (pictured with the Bison Burger) are the most perfect, crunchy outside and soft inside, and the dill dip that comeswith is also the best I?ve had. Jalapeño mac&cheese was also super cheesy, and not too spicy! The poutine was also amazing,with those fries I mentioned earlier and a made from scratch gravy (mentioned in their menu) made for the best sit down poutinearound. Finally, our waitress. Very friendly, helpful and patient with us (we were probably a little annoying). She checked upon us plenty of times to make sure the food was right/good and to make sure we always had something to drink (pictured is adouble caesar and a frozé pink lemonade). 6 months ago i put this review "The 6oz steak the first one I tried was amazing! This us the only place I've tried steak for... this cheap that tasted good. It was delicious worth it! Now for the grilled Cajun chicken I wasn't a fan because it reallydidn't have flavor. But other foods such as the Baja Brussel sprouts were spot on and I highly enjoyed those and the dragonLettuce wraps. The staff was also extremely friendly and polite about everything because yes, we are those people who are alittle annoying ordering with all the questions. We will definitely come back here again!" Just this time we ordered thespinach dip which was phenomenal, one of the best ones out there! And I got the Bison burger and sweet potatoe fries and OMGdelicious! I ordered the Nashville burger and the chicken was hard and rubbery. It was so thinly sliced that it was like they breaded a... slice of deli meat. I've never had issues with state and main before but they definitely need to fix this. This shouldn't haveleft the kitchen. Read more
