Purchased a Chef\'s Choice sushi selection tray and Japchae Bowl to share with my spouse. My spouse enjoyed every piece of sushi... to himself while I wasn\'t looking, needless to say we will be going back because he loved the variety and I need more. ??Japchae noodles were delicious. Would definitely recommend this unique sushi take out place where you don\'t have to commit toone roll and can try a piece of them all. Went there today for lunch. The place is a bit small but the owners are very kind and friendly. Mai was very knowledgeable with... her explanations about each type of sushi and it was great to see Jarod create them in front of you.\n\nThey serve whole rollsor you can mix and match single pieces of sushi a la carte, which allows you to experience a variety of their selection. I chosethe Large Dragon Roll and then added two extra a la carte items. The tempura shrimp was made fresh so it was still crunchy butnot soggy, while the rest of the roll tasted amazing. Each large roll piece was bigger than my mouth so it was extremely fillingand tasty. It is a bit on the pricier side which makes sense, given the high quality selection + presentation. They also haveplenty of vegan options and may do specific requests if asked.\n\nAs of 2022/10/14, they are mainly takeout but they told methat they do plan to have some seating and potentially a patio by Summer 2023. Absolutely amazing dining experience at the Humble Lotus. Located on King street in downtown Kitchener, we made the drive over... from Guelph to check out this refreshingly unique new business. The restaurant is beautifully designed, clean, and the view ofthe kitchen allows for customers to watch as the rolls are crafted. The food has so much flavour thanks to the locally sourcedingredients, and the love and artistry that goes into creating each dish is second to none. I highly recommend this place forgrab and go sushi. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would most certainly do so. Cheers. Read more
Best sushi is KW! Fresh, original, and great service. I highly recommend the nigiri especially the marinated tako (baby... octopus) and unagi (bbq eel). The spider roll is a must, fresh deep fried soft shell crab rolled with love and goodness. Theyalso have many vegetarian and noodle options as well. Read more

Definitely the best sushi I\'ve tried around KW (and I\'ve tried many). Every roll I tasted was delicious and you can certainly... tell how fresh the ingredients are. They do have vegetarian choices as well. I really like the grab n go options and 100% oftheir tips go to Food 4 Kids in Waterloo region. I absolutely LOVED every roll I got. I will definitely be back to try more oftheir menu! Read more
