After walking by this place on almost a daily basis, I decided to try it out with a friend the other day. I ordered the seasonal... flatbread which was super tasty and filling and a generous size. Front patio on King St is nice. Giving a 4/5 because the menuwas a bit smaller than I anticipated and there were limited items I knew I’d like. So really it’s more of a 4.5/5. Really enjoyed our dining experience here! I truly appreciate their efforts to be unique and go outside of the box! The duck... wings were a great flavour (I only dock points because I just prefer chicken meat but 9/10 flavour) and the savoury donuts wereSO good! I had duck again for the main and I actually preferred the duck confit over the duck wings. Super juicy and tendermeat! My husband had the burger which he said was very good! Google recommended this and it was such a hit. The servers were such a cheerful hosts, the food was good. We tried the duck... wings and truffle fries for appetizers on the recommendation of the server. It was excellent. I recommend a 100%. For drinks wehad the Box Job and the Hermit ****. I don't remember. Those were good as well. I didn't really enjoy the fish and chips, itcame out a bit bland. But the braised lamb was okay. Read more
If you like craft beer, gourmet cocktails, and amazing food then this place is for you! Our hotel recommended it to us. We... wanted a late night snack and a beer. It definitely didn't disappoint. We let our server pick our beer. They have 16 rotatingtaps! And if the rest of the menu tastes as good as our Duck Wings and Whiskey & Dubliner Dip, then you're in for a treat. Don'tpass it up. I quite enjoy coming to Rich Uncle. My go to dishes are definitely the nachos (pictured) and the duck wings (didn't get this... time). What really put them over the top for me this time though was the dessert. More often than not, I go to places and it'squite disappointing. The sticky toffee pudding wasn't too sweet and was perfectly paired with the salted caramel ice cream. Mymom and I were quite full by the end but we both wanted another dessert. Read more
