The food and staff here are above and beyond! I would give 6 stars if I could. The gentleman taking our order allowed us to... sample all the meat, before purchase and we didn't even ask! All the meat we tried was amazingly flavorful and cooked well. Weordered one meal, and the both of us could not finish because the servings are huge! I love that they advertised the Halal meatas well. I would definitely recommend to anyone! Read more

This is the best restaurant in the food court. I?ve now eaten here around 10 times over the past 5 months, and the food has been... stellar every time. Highly recommend the beef teriyaki with mushroom on noodles?my go to. Fresh, fast, and a good sizedportion! Read more

Staff was friendly but food was bad. Chicken smelled weird and was mostly just cartilage, barely any meat. Vegetables smelled... weird and had a bad taste. Bubble tea tasted good but the boba was old and mushy. Read more

I had the Fresh salmon sashimi bowl. They customized the veggies according to my liking. The sauces made this dish so... flavourful. Spicy option is not too hot. Good customer service. Tasted great till the last bite. Read more

The food we ordered was amazing. The sushi is yummy and very fresh. They have various options like sushi and also cooked food.... It is a great choice for me and my friends as some like raw food while others like cooked food. Read more

Although the gentleman who initially served me was very pleasant and even went out of his way to show me their halal meat... supplier when I had asked, the lady who served me afterwards was very impatient, didn't greet me or bid me farewell. It was myfirst time visiting so I was unfamiliar with their menu. I also had some card trouble so I offered to pay with cash. Normally,as a cashier one would say something like, "oh no worries. It happens". She avoided making eye contact with me and just lookedannoyed. She kept trying to serve someone else when she wasn't even done serving me. I've worked in so many customer servicerelated jobs. It's not hard to make someone feel important and welcomed. Even if someone didn't buy anything on their firstvisit or maybe bought something low-cost, that doesn't mean they can't be a future regular client. If you give people a reasonto come because your customer service was impeccable then they would most likely come back and even tell all their followers onsocial media about it. I can't say I want to come back. Lastly, when I finished paying I said a simple, "thank you" and shejust ignored me. I could be wrong but I think that dressing as a Muslim gets me worse customer service than someone who doesn't.I've experienced this a few times at Fairview Park Mall. The customer she kept trying to serve instead of me was a white man.Maybe I'm over thinking things; who knows? But I can't help but notice that white coloured folk get better treatment than me atmost places. You know what's so ironic about that? I'm half white: French Canadian. Regardless, everyone should be treated withkindness and respect. It's really not that hard when you stop putting people on pedestals. Read more

I hovered around all the food court choices and decided to try Umi out of all of them. No regrets! I took their special... offering, a plate of chicken teriyaki with veggies on rice. It came with a drink. The meal had a nice, full, quality taste andfeel. They cook it to order, and it only took a couple minutes. The sauce was delicious. Really satisfying, especially for theprice of $8.75. I would definitely order from here again. And they gave me some dumplings on top of my order for free justbecause. Nice. Read more
