Tried Zay Zaman based on a friend?s recommendation and it was pretty awesome. Nice smokey flavour to the chicken shawarma - good... amount of hot and garlic sauce. Liked the hot peppers along with the onion and pickles. Could of used some pickled beets. 9/10will go back. Read more
This is the only place in KW that actually has real shawarmas, the rest of them are actually chicken salads in a wrap. If you?re... looking to eat authentic shawarma.. this is the place! The staff are really nice as well. We are regulars here because of howgood their food is! Read more
So yummy and they are very clean! The gentleman there changed his gloves so many times. I was impressed! I am a bit of a germ... freak so I appreciated this so much. They were very kind as well. I got a shwarma plate and it came with rice, salad, meat, yummy garlic and hot sauce and a pita! It already came with extra sauce which filled a whole small section of the container. The food was great and the girl (inas) working there was super sweet! We ordered 5 zay zamans wraps, 1 zay zaman plate and 1... shawarma plate. The plates are more than enough for 2 people. We love getting food from here. Would definitely recommend tryingthis place out. Read more

Zay Zaman A Review by Hassan Hawash Whenever I go grocery shopping over at Ammar?s or get a haircut at Othman?s, I look forward... to a shawarma at Zay Zaman?s. It?s a real treat, a snack cum meal, a good fill. The Middle East?s answer to fast food is notonly flavourful, but healthy as well and oh do the good people over at Zaman do it so well. Having indulged in shawarmas inmany a restaurant in the Middle East and a few here in Kitchener, Toronto and Winnipeg, I?ve come to appreciate the experienceand effort that is a Zaman shawarma. I love it that the always fresh pita bread is dabbed generously with a touch of lemoninfused garlic sauce, a healthy helping of pickles and then a veritable smorgasbord of healthy fixings to choose from before thecrispy chicken is shaved per order off the rotisserie spit. Copious amounts of the shaved chicken are then placed in the pitapockets. After that, for added taste Yussef gave my shawarmas a brush up against behind the spit along the heat and then on thegrill for good measure for a few minutes. This process turns out a great mouthwatering delicious zesty full on chicken shawarmawrap.
