Excellent food and drink, with great service. We came on a monday at 2:30, it was happy hour! Yay 6$ drinks, and 15% off apps.... Painkiller and a sangria, both were excellent. For mains we got the salmon club wrap & Guava braised short rib poutine. Wow,both were so good! The fries (upcharge with the wrap) are so crispy yet soft on the inside, the salmon was fresh and the char onthe wrap was perfect. The poutine was so good! Yum. Highly recommend! Read more
I had a good time at this restaurant with my family! We were able to sit outside, grand kids, daughter and dog! Food was good... with a nice variety, so everyone could find something they wanted. It's worth a stop to check it out. Read more
Disappointed!… PROS:, good vibe, plenty of people here enjoying the atmosphere, all good. Food however was TERRIBLE!... Saddlebags should be called SALTbags!! Yuck ????… not exaggerating at all.. try and you’ll see! I paid $17 for a lobsterquesadilla and pulled it apart, look at the pic … is this how the lobster capital of the US does lobster??????????????EPICFAIL!! Read more
We had a fabulous late lunch on Friday. The Baja Reuben was out of this world, with excellent fries. The chicken lettuce wraps... exceeded our expectations, they were s o good! Found this place recently through a friend. Love the poutine fries, they are fabulous. A great place to get together with a few... friends. The bread pudding with a twist was a nice change. The Nashville Hot sandwich had a good amount of heat and the drinkswere good. Staff is great and friendly. Will definitely be back soon. Read more
My girlfriends and I went for brunch at the Blue Mermaid and we had a BLAST!! Two words: Mimosa flight - drop the mic. Jodi and... I ordered two different flights, mango, blueberry-lemonade, blood-orange & watermelon ????. Jodi swapped her mango fortraditional orange juice. Laurie ordered a Bloody Mary. The brunch menu has several options. I chose the salmon eggs Benedictwhich was served on their homemade (read AHMAZING) buttery biscuits. (I ended up taking some home lol). Jodi had the breakfastburrito with homemade potato chips (delicious). Laurie ordered the eggs frijoles which had a black bean "bun" as the base. Allthree of us enjoyed our meals and thought they were delicious. Would highly recommend this place as a casual dine-in spot forbrunch or dinner if you're in the area. Read more
I tried the special Fizzy Cider cocktail on a whim...did not disappoint! I want to learn how to make it at home, great... combination of sweet cider, zesty ginger, and bubbly, even better with the lime squeeze. Entree was something I'll come backfor -- I took the waitresses recommendation and ordered the Nam Jim seared haddock. Rarely do we see a fish dish with a bold,original twist... this dish should put Blue Mermaid on the map, with a perfect blend of butter seared fish topped with a spicymix of fresh minced peppers and flavors I can't quite name.
