The sandwich shop was a great place with a variety of items on the menu. Reasonable prices, easy to get to. The roast beef is... incredible. Very friendly people. Read more

I really enjoyed my meal here. The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. They had plenty of options to choose from and I was... able to customize my sandwich without a problem. The ingredients were of high quality and seem to be either made in-house orpurchased locally. For how good the quality was, I would say that their prices are below what I expected. The bread was soft andsweet which I enjoyed. I am new to Kittery and will be going here often. I'm not sure what the other reviews were about(referencing high prices or tasteless meat) because that was certainly not my experience. I was highly impressed! Read more

Consistent, quality sandwiches. This is a must stop place when we're driving through Kittery. Great hand-carved roast beef and... turkey sandwiches. Read more

I really wanted to like this places more, as they are doing so many things right. It came down to execution. Positives: very... clean place, a lot of seating options, efficient and friendly window service, home cooked meats and protein. Knowing it was asandwich focused place, I felt like the portion was small, bread didn?t support the meat (too soft, maybe could?ve toasted orgrilled to add texture and the meat was slice too thick. I get what they were going for, but nobody wants to chew so much onever bite. These could be simple fixes. I will try again, as it could have been an off day. I?m also okay paying more for asandwich with a good bread to beef ratio. If it?s good, people are okay because they see value. Read more

I had the cavalry sandwich it was excellent, and a side of potato salad, simple, quality ingredients. And it came out pretty... fast. Also had their hand made ice cream, it was phenomenal. Definitely will be back. Read more

Ordered 5 items - 1 sandwich and 4 wraps. The good -- fresh. The bad - all incredibly tasteless and underwhelming. Poorly... executed in terms of seasoning, flavor, and just basic sandwich construction - I don't think they actually know how to wrap awrap. Sandwich was better - no complaints from my hungry teen - the only reason it gets 3 stars. Read more

I hate writing reviews like this, but c'mon folks, read your previous reviews and adjust, I'm not the first with this feedback.... Without parallel, this was the worst roast beef sandwich I have ever been served in my life. I'd have been happier with asandwich from a gas station...you know, those ones with the soggy bread and the little plastic condiment packets? Yeah. Guys, Idon't know if you're trying to sell people on "Ye Olde Tudor Cuts" of roast beef, but the CHUNKS of extremely rare meat , ratherthan the thin slices that probably most folks are expecting, are just gross. It left me feeling like I was eating a roll fullof...I dunno, fingertips? It was 3/4 inch gobs of fat & meat that really appeared to be whatever they scooped up from the baseof the deli slicer after a busy day. Like those "end cuts" you find in the discount section at the Market Basket deli. Doesn'tbelong in sandwiches. If your menu leaves you with that as waste, repurpose those cuts into something more appealing. I justcouldn't eat it. My Boston Terrier could. Now I'm hungry and mad, out $12.00, and she's had an expensive pile of dog treats. Read more
