I often do not leave 1 star reviews because it usually means I will not be back. In this case, this place was so off I felt the... need to let the business know in hopes that they will work out kinks. First, upon pulling up I noticed that the signage is notprominent enough for those unsure of the turn off and felt like I was driving up to someone's house as my first visit to thisproperty. Second when I made my way to the door I immediately noticed the water fountain that was off but full of water andleaking down the steps. This is a safety issue that should be acknowledged regardless of season. Walking in the place appearedclosed and more like a construction zone due to a large event area being closed and dark and caution tape blocking stairs goingdown. An exit sign had me questioning which direction I was going. It was hot inside and staff repeatedly shut doors providing abreeze to those that sat inside due to lack of tables outside. One guest also did this leading me to believe they were not justa guest. There were obvious service issues such as the beertender not being able to focus on one customer through an entiretransaction, making it inefficient. Our food order came out separately and with quite a bit of time between. My sandwich firstand then a small taco salad. Food orders were often placed in different areas on the bar instead of in one designated location,with multiple orders being placed together. When realizing that we had not been offered or provided a receipt I went back to getit and was informed it was left as an open tab when I had said no to this. When provided, a pen was not a priority to offer.After finding one and returning both, 3 employees looked at me and walked away, so I put it in the tip jar to ensure it made itwhere it needed to by the end of the night. New place so I'll go back when they get off the ground. Very hot with no AC and flys from doors open. Pizza was good although... burnt and large selection of beer. Would give them more stars but the service sucked and extremely slow. Two bar tenders forfour people and it was still 20 minutes to get a drink. Hopefully they get some bar tenders and AC fixed so you can at leasthave a conversation because sitting next to box fans it's hard to visit. Has great potential once it gets going. Read more
When we walked into the bar area, we weren't greeted by anyone, so we weren't quite sure what the protocol was, so we went... outside on the patio deck and sat down at a table. We observed others with beverages coming outside with drinks in hand, so weasked them if we were supposed to order at the counter, which is what we were supposed to do, so in other words, there isn't anytable service. We went to the bar and the bar tenders were helpful with choosing the perfect beverage along with a few samplesto help with the decision and we placed our order for some pizza. The pizza was delivered to our table and was quite delicious???? overall, it's a great place to enjoy a beverage and a meal. It's great to have another casual dining option for the basin. Read more
The place is new, so I?m giving them a pass on some issues. Gorgeous location with lots of promise and plans for the future of... this wonderful location. I was however, stunned by the price tag on the same pint of beer that anywhere else goes for $3 lessthan the $11 they charged. For that, I expected more than a very stark place with little or no AC. Or, the AC was set for a veryuncomfortable near 80 degrees. Either way it was tough to enjoy a beer inside when it would be cooler outside. But the doors tothe outside shaded deck area all said, ?Do Not Open?. I guess that the country club location brings with it country clubprices, or Bend prices. Too bad. But like I said, they just opened. With the exception of prices, I would imagine that they?lladdress a entire host of other issues in the future. And as more furniture arrives and folks discover the place, it won?t seemso darn empty looking. Great views. Looking forward to the future. Read more
Came back to try more of the food and the wings were nice, the grilled cheese sandwich was super nice but the taco salad wasn?t... as described and I felt overpriced. So next time I would order the wings with dry seasoning and a side of the taco saladdressing to dip in and a grilled cheese. Also the taps are nice and lots of different drinks to choose from so try a few and seewhat you like. Read more
Great selection of beers. I like being able to take a Growler home and try some new brews. Pizza is good and the salads are... huge! Nice patio when the weather is good. Read more
