The waitress with black hair was literally tweaking in the kitchen area. Just in case none knows what that mean high on meth or... herrione. Meanwhile all her drug addict friends were coming in and out. She was walking outside every 10 minutes. Whilemanager/cook was doing nothing about the problem. My server was nice and everything. We like to order ahead and then pick up our food to go; but unfortunately we won't anymore. Recently while I sat at the dining... counter waiting to pay for our togo order; I noticed a family of cockroaches out for a walk head towards me. I told the employeeat the register when I paid and left. I really hate that we have to find another place to order from. Read more
Really wanted a good breakfast (this time of morning- 5:30am) before traveling! The door was locked ???? and 3 employees were... inside. The manager opened the door and said they had been short staffed and taking a break (at 5am ????). She said I couldplace a to-go order. I waited in my vehicle while I watched the manager get the cook out of his car! He proceeded to start myorder without washing his hands! The waffle iron area was a mess (random discovery from earlier ????). I walked back in andpolitely requested a refund. Waffle House never closes people! Went in to eat in the wee hours of the morning on, 8/7/22, as a treat. Got inside and the rap music was blasting so loud we... couldn?t even carry on a conversation. The entire crew was behind the counter practically yelling over one another to speak,laughing loudly, dancing like it was a party, and using absolutely foul language. Total disregard for the fact that they hadcustomers trying to enjoy a meal. To top it off, a customer walked in, apparently wanted to join the fun, screamed, ?There?s aparty going on up in this bi*ch!?, and proceeded to help herself behind the counter where there was food being prepared. She wasdancing around and carrying on in the food prep area. Totally unsafe and definitely UNSANITARY!!! The manager on shift wasquietly sitting in the background with nothing to say. This is not the first time our family has had a bad experience at thislocation, but it will be the last as we will not return. Pretty pitiful for Waffle House I must say. My husband and I have been coming to this location for years, it has always been the cleanest, friendly, amazing food, just... overall awesome. We will go out of our way to come to this location. We have noticed the service here has gone down hill bigtime. The last 2 times we have visited our food has been messed up, either undercooked, burnt or missing items. When we havebrought it to our servers attention, they apologize and say that they will get it taken care of but never do. We went intonight. There were 3 people working, there was NO ONE in the restaurant. We were the only customers. Places our orders, theygave my husband sausage when he asked for bacon. My sandwich the bread was burnt and dripping in grease, my side of bacon washalf burnt and the other half raw. We will not be returning to this Waffle House ever. Very disappointed we have been cominghere for 7 years. If they were slammed with customers or extremely short staff we could understand but this is uncalled for. Thelanguage they were using, I have no issues with foul language, I can make a trucker blush, when you have customers/guests inyour establishment you do not speak that way. Its unprofessional, and to have a server who is not your server to come up toyour table and interrupt your meal to show off a purse you just went and bought at Goodwill down the road, we watched her get onher scooter and go across the street. This Waffle house is amazing the servers are the best they get us what ever we need. I go here every Saturday with my little... brother and grandmother and they always get our stuff exactly the way we want it. The waffles are amazing just today I went andthey changed out the plating to make the waffles and made them a perfect Fluff it was amazing. They are a 10 out of 10. Read more
My normal stop in time is the third shift. The usual two girls who don't seem to be very interested in their job speak... pleasantly but whether they have a full house or nobody to serve I only ever hear them complain about other employees. It's notsomething people enjoy listening to after working all day and stopping for some food in the early A.M. not to mention the cookwhos name starts with a J I think. White kid who always runs to his car, he never changes his gloves when he cooks. I owned myown restaurant for 18 years. I can tell you firmly you MUST CHANGE GLOVES AFTER HANDLING CHICKEN. he seems to be more concernedwith gossip and flirting, rather than have any interest in preventing cross contamination. Today me and my family stopped in forfood, usually it's just me. I have seen all of the employees at this establishment at some point in time. And I can honestly saytoday's staff in first shift was the most motivated, and customer attentive team I've seen so far. I don't know the names butthere was only one cool on the floor during a serious rush. I almost felt bad for adding to the flood but we were hungry. Let metell you this team can work under pressure. The servers Mo and Ashley were so friendly through all of the stress. The tallgentleman that cooks whom wears the glasses was handling his grill VERY well which my father was most impressed with because heworked at many 5 star restaurants as a top notch chef. We saw him change his gloves after every chicken. WITHOUT FAIL. Andalways was asking for the next order even while he had orders on the grill. He made one mistake with my father's hash browns. Asimple missing topping which my father was understanding about. And the cook politely apologized to my father and I in a waythat made us feel like he genuinely cared.
